I also had the same comfusion but now it's cleared.. actually Boyles law states only about atmospheric pressure so as we know ATM p remain same so that's why we can't say that upopn inc or Dec volume pressure will inc or Dec bcz atm pressure remains same and independent of the volume of any gas in container
