  • The second stage of the Oe Noh theater stage commentary series...
    It's about Kagamiita and Kiridoguchi!
A pine picture drawn on the front of the Noh stage is called Kagamiita and is said to be a remnant that Noh used to dedicate to pine trees. There is a theory that it is a mirror plate because it is a plate on which a pine reflected in a mirror is drawn.
Kiridoguchi is a doorway used by some actors (gziutai, kouken, etc.) who don't wear main costumes when performing on the stage.
It is said that the purposely made small pieces are the remnants of the ceremony when the ceremony was held in the Edo period.
The series will continue a little longer! If you don't mind, please subscribe to the channel and like it!
Stay tuned for my next video! !!
