Pearl took a lot of time making this thing available
This is my main reason not wanting to own a Pearl kit because of the bad mounting system. But, they should add a ball mount as well because thats the best way for me to get the toms to where I like them.
The new ones (the L-Arm Mounting system) does just that; it's on a ball. pearldrum.com/products/hardware/tom-holders/thl1030
