This is so cool! To own the original helmet and costume is already great, but then the actress comes by, loves it and is so nice and down to earth, wow...awesome! I was able to meet Leah Cairns at a convention too, VERY nice lady. I wish her all the very best!!!
Wow, what a trooper. That was super cool for Leah to take that much time. She seems
very down to earth. I always liked her on the show and wished she had more screen time.
agreed. i thought there were a number of episodes where they brought in new people for an episode , where they could have focused on some of the 'regular' actors'. For instance, that whole episode with Bulldog where the Colonials/Adama supposedly 'provoked' the cylon attack was 42-minutes that could have been spent on something else, especially when, in the grand scheme, it didn't really drive the story forward at all and had no real impact. You know? Like, they brought in a new cast member to headline an episode, they shot it, established some story, the actor left, and... that was it. They never really mentioned anything about it again. Like, the cylons never threw it in adama's face or anything. It didn't alter Adama's motivations, or have any observable effect on his demeanor/decisions. Roslin never brought it up. etc. It ultimately had no impact on the series at all. You can skip that episode entirely and be no worse off. And when i rewatch it, having seen the whole series, it just doesn't fit. It seems quite foreign and contrived. The resourses would have been better spent elsewhere.
I would not have recognized her, maybe it's her hair or that she's smiling now compared to the character she played. Towards the end i didn't like Racetrack because she was basically a traitor.
she has many new things coming up in the next few months, be sure to check her official website www.leahcairns.net for all info :)
Keep up the good fight against Cancer Leah. SO SAY WE ALL
Holy crap! I just read about this after seeing your post.
@@morgan97475 yeah I couldn't believe it either
@@Vasun05 I just read up on it too, she’s mentioned she’s cancer free now so happy for her!
Out of a lot of Sci-fi shows, BSG still has a special place to a lot of the cast. Great show!
Total class act! 🤙🏼
What cool person. Talk about down to earth.
She is a smokeshow. Loved her in Travelers, too!
And i thought the more beautiful a woman is the more screen time gets. I guess i was wrong. She is by far the most beautiful woman in BSG women cast
She is hot for sure, though Number Six looks better. And i say that liking brunette/s better.
She's so cool
Leah is always fun and vivacious.
Leah was always my favourite female actor in the series.
Wow! What a nice lady, and great time had by all!
That was seattle,2015;l Was there!
Still as cute as she was on BSG!
one word for leah......real
Superb!
This is amazing
Gorgeous gorgeous beautiful lady
What a beautiful lady!
OMG...SHE IS ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL😍💘😍💘😍💘
I love how she’s just yanking parts out, putting it on, and almost tossing that helmet around. Meanwhile dude probably paid an assload of money for a screen-used prop.
@Matt C I would be going all Sheldon and trying to create a clone lol
I had the worst frakkin crush on Racetrack. You have no idea
Pretty sure I’ve got an idea...
1:10 " a little verklemt " that sounds like Dutch ! ???
Why isn't she in more stuff! She needs to be a lead.
wow she looks a lot older. she still looks good for 42 yo but fuck i thought she was in her 20s in the show. back in 2005 (first season) she was 30
Yeah, she shows her age, but I think she's aged gracefully and wears the years very well indeed.
Hands down the most beautiful woman on television. I hope she never comes to Australia or I will be in trouble
