I went to their show in KY. The second set I've seen of theirs, in the last two years, both in KY. I'm from Cincy, so - naturally. Polica may have just presented the best performance, ever. period. This is "high-art" on an accessible, emotional... level.
LOVE IT... You made me put my hands up in my head. Im impressed! ... And I knew I would be, with your new songs... Cant wait to listen to the whole album!
Subtlety is a convenience reserved for countries that don’t systemically target minorities with their lawless unaccountable police force. Swing and miss 😘
Just noticed that this is exactly what we are suffering in our home. We have “teargas buffet” every week even under the peaceful protest, and we supposed to have freedom of protest.
So u think burning down someone's business is peaceful...honestly I highly doubt you an the rest of this generation know what the hell you're even protesting for..an if ur referring to this bullshit george floyd ur assumption is deluded.. this country has more rights than any country on earth..I'd like to see you an antifa an the BLM go do that shit in any other country..u wouldn't last long..if u think moving toward a Marxism socialist or communist state think again..do u think that people come here for that..hell no they dont..ask anyone from Cuba or Venezuela...or Mexico...its never going to happen.. the liberal left democratic socialist party are the enemies of our country... believe me I've seen plenty just how they suck the money out of any state or town or where ever there at...if u wonder why ur town looks like a ghetto like my home town its becuz of the democratic party thats had there hand around the very kneck of it..flint Michigan has paid dearly becuz of them..get out side the bullshit propaganda an look at it..
Love the juxtaposition of the song and Sesame Street with Channy. A good way to get poeple to think and feel about crazy stuff we so easily can become numb to. Right on, Polica!
Awesome music as usual, and awesome video too. Wasn't expecting this. Perfect for Brazil's current political state. Is there any way to add subtitles? I'd happily translate the video texts/conversations.

Pro Tip: Those bottle masks are useless unless you continually douse the worker's mask with vinegar and wear swimming goggles. Otherwise, all the tear gas being kept in by your nifty 'craft time' bottle will blind you while you try to run from the cops. Oh, and a tightly wrapped shirt covering your breathing holes is much better than a worker's mask. But it's probably better to encourage kids to be bright, hard working and socially conscious rather than hand them cute bandanas and romanticize protest. Systematic change requires systematic catalysts (like better education, for example). Cheers and with love, Someone who's inhaled a lot of tear gas in a country that's in far deeper shit than the U.S. On another note, cool tune
+Luke Johnson I honestly didn't see it as doing either - I thought it was just an interesting mashup between the intensity of the protest/riot police conflict, and the innocence/shelterednes of children. It's more relevant these days; we raise our kids that the world is a pretty place; they aren't educated on how police conflicts can go really wrong (e.g. sometimes they get angry and forget to use their words). Nowadays, if your home gets incorrectly raided by SWAT and you grab a gun to defend yourself, you either end up dead or in prison.
"...that's in far deeper shit than the U.S." cool, your country has problems. We're dealing with our own, so we don't really need the advice of an outsider.
Sends a chill up my spine every time i've watched it. Spot on late 70s/early 80s kid show. Her melody choice is awesome and the way the vocals get layered is devine.
this is a true state the us is in more bands should make protest music now with a wennabe Hitler in office more bands should making protest songs about trump and his Cabinet and the Republican party
this is awesome. what a feeling for a video. that level of retro but with a new twist! Let us know if your band is interested in being reviewed on our blog site which has over 93,000 views! Past clients include Hedley, Firewind, Dragonforce, Monster Truck, and many more!
I don't know, maybe I am too cynical, but to me it kinda feels like this video is trying to purposely stir up controversy in hopes for attention. I like the song though.
+Kandi Gloss you gotta realize that they want to ridicule today's situation. Isn't it funny that one of the most developped countries is still dealing with such a problem. And in order to emphasise how insane all of this is, they show that they have to teach black children how to deal with the police so that they wont get shot AND AGAIN THIS IS HAPPENING IN THE US!
TheDani12341 my point was that they were doing so simply to get attention, there is no substance to the video, they make no context to their police hate.
+Kavit Sumud Dude after Shulamith, this is much needed. Just relax, turn up the volume, and bang your head to the steering wheel. I don't care much for the breaks in the music for stupid whatever you call them. Listen to the live at the current version. Song is brilliant.

One of the best songs
Damn. Polica just mind fucked the shit out of me
This video predicted it all, so suitable that it's a Minneapolis band. Bootlickers in the comments be damned.
My fav song of them
Minnesota.
You guys are genius, so subtle
+supaPowuh in the lyrics, the video is pretty obvious
Subtlety is a convenience reserved for countries that don’t systemically target minorities with their lawless unaccountable police force. Swing and miss 😘

Poliça para quem precisa de poliça !
This needs to be our focus.
This kinda reminded me of Don't Hug Me I'm Scared
C. Rose Yeah
YASS!
Powerful!
Really something to think about...
you are writing history, do not stop performing, please!
Don't get tricked.... Remember police are allowed to lie to you.
Awesome video!
Just awesome. Your sound was enough but your activism takes your music to a whole other level.
My Favorite Music Video
This is simply my favorite music video of all time.
It's 2020 and this song needs to be reintroduced!

One of the most powerful music videos I've seen in years.
This is amazing work. So good.
Awesome music as usual, and awesome video too. Wasn't expecting this. Perfect for Brazil's current political state. Is there any way to add subtitles? I'd happily translate the video texts/conversations.

'P' is for: petrified of these predatory, peculiar PUPPETS!!! Great track though....
THE NEWS SHOWS US A WORLD THAT IS PURPOSEFULLY SENSATIONALLISED .... !
ThankYou
🖤🖤🖤
Beautiful, moving, and so creative. I love the political imperative that seems to be motivating Polica lately. Can't wait for more.
It's a real fresh breathe.

My brother just sent me this inspired!
2016 sure was some shit. Wild year...
just what the movement needs...

+llIutub1 This, in my opinion, might be the most important comment.
+llIutub1 You hit the nail on the head.
+llIutub1 I think the video isn't so much romanticizing protest as it is drawing attention to police brutality.

"We were born in their world... But they will die in ours"

Here to add a comment on an 8 year old video in respects to Tyre Nichols. We All Deserve Better. Be The Change You Want To See.

Those masks will not be okay for what is coming, kids! Solid video but let’s get some real masks from the surplus store for when it all goes down.
детям таких уродов
Why didn't they show the children smoking blunts smashing windshields?
SJWs are so loving and acceptable...
Be prepared starts with B -_-
😭😭 wtf is it 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Sad
I wonder if they felt the same way about police arresting people for not wearing masks during covid.
I'm one of Polica's superfans, but this album is horrible. Totally dull and nearly unlistenable.
+Kavit Sumud Dude after Shulamith, this is much needed. Just relax, turn up the volume, and bang your head to the steering wheel. I don't care much for the breaks in the music for stupid whatever you call them. Listen to the live at the current version. Song is brilliant.
The video is stupid. The music is good.
