This has the feel of a Championship game to it. FCS school trying to beat an FBS school. An FCS Championship caliber team going against an FBS team that is trying to improve on its 4-8 record last year. Both want this win badly to validate themselves. A win for the Bison and their aspirations climb even higher while a loss would be acceptable. A win for CU and the Hype train is ON again with all the money pouring in and the high ESPN ratings while a loss could be devastating for the Hype train to ever get a chance to get going. This game means more for CU than it does to NDSU in my opinion. But the underpinning of it all is can Coach Prime beat a Top School with tons of Culture in his 2nd year? How long did it take Harbaugh to break through before he was able to bag Ohio State and them other big boys? Could Prime do it faster than Coach Harbaugh did it or will he face the same bumps in the road that other great Coaches suffered during their rise to the top of the Coaching ranks. NDSU has a culture that every school wishes to have and that is why they are the winning program we see. This is no 'Cup-Cake' team, NDSU represents as big as an opponent as Nebraska and every other team CU will face this year. NDSU 31 - CU 24
This squad is legit. I think this a good first game for CU. As long as they are locked in and don’t take them lightly, this will prep them for early success.
If we get them in 3rd and long #9 is COOKED... I think the buffs O-line is much improved but i think the front 7 of the defense are MOST improved and we'll find out August 29th, 2024 😊
Exceptional work! The biggest issues for NDSU will be the trenches. They won’t be big & strong enough similar to what everyone said about CU last season. CU just had a top tier QB like NDSU had in their hay day. Their DBs also won’t be able to keep up with CU fire power, especially with them not being able to get to Shedeur 🤷🏽♂️
No, the problem for SU is twofold. One, controlling Shadeur Sanders....tough task for any team. Two, covering CU's receivers. NDSU has phenomenal line play, including against FBS teams.
Ndsu has stood up to Iowa in the trenches. Especially the O line. Look at ndsu's nfl linemen. ndsu and sdsu trenches are similar caliber to iowa year in and year out. If ndsu struggles it will be vs CU's WR imo.
you better have respect for this team and program. If the team has the lack of respect like your post, they’ll lose. This team will be the most fundamentally sound team on the schedule. Coach Prime understands who he’s playing.
Several key points to keep in mind....Tim Polasek may be the new head coach, but this is not his roster or team. As with all 1st year head coaches, you inherit the left overs from the last regime. The Bison were hit very hard with the transfer portal and around 70% of their entire coach staff has been replaced since last year, including their long time offensive coordinator. NDSU has a very poor record of playing outdoors, on the road infront of hostile environments (refer to their records against playing South Dakota State and the U of Montana on the road as examples). Folsum Field is nearly twice the size of stadium that Montana or South Dakota State has and all 50,000 plus will be extremely loud. The time of the game is at 8 pm Central time for the NDSU team, so that is a very late start for their mind - bodies to get used to playing. Also, the elevation will play a huge factor in conditioning, especially in the 4th quarter. There is no place in North Dakota where the Bison can practice football at over 5,300 feet. The Bison defense is not used to seeing the speed and athleticism the Buffaloes have on offense (no FCS school does). Obviously, NDSU will try to have clock consuming long drive runnng game to keep Sheduer Sanders on the bench and try to get a few turnovers from the Buffaloes.
@@FansTake You are welcome, I may not be 100 percent correct, but I do think there are some very valid points that will affect the outcome for both teams.

@@lucrativevision3946 and when Colorado blow them out, everyone gonna be like, "they didn't play anybody, they were supposed to beat NDSU" 😂 these people are hilarious
CU needs to bring their A-game against NDSU. They can not underestimate NDSU at all whatsoever. I've seen NDSU and what they can do to FBS opponents. Prime also knows this. We need to beat NDSU this season. Let's bring our best game against the Bison and win. #SkoBuffs EDIT: Not only am I worried about NDSU being good and a threat, I'm also extremely concerned that George Kliavkoff, the disgraced Pac12 Commissioner, will be attempting to tamper with the refs like he did with every single game last season. Especially with the Stanford and Utah games. If the game is actually close, Kliavkoff will tamper with the refs to some degree and I'm hoping the Big 12 is aware of this and is prepared to prevent that.
Cheryl I you think found a great niche for serving the Buffs community! Opponent previews are great for us real football fans. It also helps those who are new to CU football get the info they need to place better bets. Keep em coming! You put some WORK into this! Much appreciated!
P.S. The more recent/current the player info, the better for the fans. The history matters for sure, but we definitely want to know what we’re going to be up against each week.
@@cjf48229 I only did the history section because it was NDSU. I doubt I will do that section for another opponent, unless I find something very interesting in their history.

@@cjf48229 Believe it or not, my goal was to make this video 15 mins. I just found NDSU so interesting, but I'm definitely making the others shorter. I doubt I will even do a history section for the others. I just found NDSU's history interesting.
This man coached Tristan Wirfs on OL while at Iowa. NDSU Oline is gonna be some dawgs this year again. Hope they have a few running backs to shoulder the load.
I just realized something. NDSU only beat 2 FBS teams that had winning records since 2010. However, they have had two impressive upsets against teams who played the exact same football style that they did with similar recruits. Kansas and Iowa. This just isnt intimidating especially after watching them get mandandled literally by South Dakota and North Dakota.
Was that the helmet scene? I think it was in that section. If so, one of their players was drafted there and I edited the video just for the helmet, but I think it might have been one other quick clip. It was from an NDSU hype video.
Packers WR is from ndsu, as was packers O lineman, and packers rb, and a different packers wr. So, it could have been a clip about any one of them. But its probably a clip about christian watson.
They said the trenches is what separates the lower conferences from good Power 5 teams. CU should win just by controlling the line of scrimmage. This is the game to set the tone for the run game and establish the D-Lines identity.
..k..ya better know what ur getting with ndsu..they have depth..play like a road grader from start to finish..only challenge might be the altutude difference...otherwise cu is in for an eye opener ..coaching skills on display for both teams..especially cu..and they too have changed...another cu reorganization reduced some stability of team performance in games...but time will tell..we shall see..
It’ll be competitive but people gotta stop acting like NDSU is as good as they were 3-4 years ago, they aren’t as dominant in the fcs anymore, still good but not what they used to be. But Colorado isn’t great either but they are more talented.
I used an NDSU Hype video for B-roll. NDSU had a wide receiver, Christian Watson. who was drafted by the Packers. Aaron Rodgers was in that NDSU video.

@marquezsmith8889 Its going to be so funny when the goal post is moved.. NDSU's head coach admitted he doesn't know what CU is running 😂
@@lucrativevision3946 and when Colorado blow them out, everyone gonna be like, "they didn't play anybody, they were supposed to beat NDSU" 😂 these people are hilarious
This is gonna be a good one
News flash. 💛💙 is the most physical team in the country! Replacing them is a tall order.
It’s going to be a lot of running the cu de going have to be dominant this game
Hope NDS beats Colorado!
This is a dangerous game for CU.
Going to be Tough Rough and not a Cupcake Team!!!!
I didn’t know NDSU won championships. Buffs better respect them.
17 football national championships. 9 since 2011.
they won it for fcs not fbs
CU needs to bring their A-game against NDSU. They can not underestimate NDSU at all whatsoever. I've seen NDSU and what they can do to FBS opponents.
Prime also knows this. We need to beat NDSU this season. Let's bring our best game against the Bison and win.
#SkoBuffs
EDIT: Not only am I worried about NDSU being good and a threat, I'm also extremely concerned that George Kliavkoff, the disgraced Pac12 Commissioner, will be attempting to tamper with the refs like he did with every single game last season.
@@FansTake I can imagine the amount of time you put into this video. As a former player and coach, watching this video felt like viewing an intelligence report. If you produce these weekly thru the season I’m watching every week! Your videos like this are complimentary to T-Cal’s film breakdowns (Buffed In Prime channel)… I love it! If you could condense the opponent previews down to 15-20 min per vid, 👌🏾🤌🏾🫶🏽
@@FansTake P.S. You earned a new subscriber with this one!
Thank you for the additional information.
Ndsu!!!
Salute your channel #Skobuffs
💛
I just realized something. NDSU only beat 2 FBS teams that had winning records since 2010. However, they have had two impressive upsets against teams who played the exact same football style that they did with similar recruits. Kansas and Iowa. This just isnt intimidating especially after watching them get mandandled literally by South Dakota and North Dakota.
Cheryl C is the greatest & fuck ESPN
I'm glad you liked it. Thank you.
Hopefully they will beat the Buffalo by 21 pts.

Why did it have clips of the packers, whats going on here haha ;)
Was that the helmet scene? I think it was in that section. If so, one of their players was drafted there and I edited the video just for the helmet, but I think it might have been one other quick clip. It was from an NDSU hype video.
Packers WR is from ndsu, as was packers O lineman, and packers rb, and a different packers wr. So, it could have been a clip about any one of them. But its probably a clip about christian watson.
@@RemKrueger Yes, thank you. That's exactly who it was. He narrated the video.
Former Nebraska Asst Coaches lead the way for what NDSU is today...
Coach Bohl definitely did an amazing job with program after moving up to FCS but NDSU has always been a football power
There's a reason Big Ten teams don't schedule the Bison anymore.
They said the trenches is what separates the lower conferences from good Power 5 teams. CU should win just by controlling the line of scrimmage. This is the game to set the tone for the run game and establish the D-Lines identity.

CU: win & cover vs NDSU
..k..ya better know what ur getting with ndsu..they have depth..play like a road grader from start to finish..only challenge might be the altutude difference...otherwise cu is in for an eye opener ..coaching skills on display for both teams..especially cu..and they too have changed...another cu reorganization reduced some stability of team performance in games...but time will tell..we shall see..
It’ll be competitive but people gotta stop acting like NDSU is as good as they were 3-4 years ago, they aren’t as dominant in the fcs anymore, still good but not what they used to be. But Colorado isn’t great either but they are more talented.
Princeton has the most national championships
They are FCS Ivy League.
🟩 🟨 NDS GOT SOME BIG BISONS UPFRONT. I MEAN THEY PROTECT THE QB THEM BOYS ARE 6'3 300LBS AND STRONG.
CU DLINE GOTTA BE NASTY AND FAST
CU BY 20
Why is Aaron Rodgers here 😭😭😭😭 @3:48
I used an NDSU Hype video for B-roll. NDSU had a wide receiver, Christian Watson. who was drafted by the Packers. Aaron Rodgers was in that NDSU video.
a thousand dollar bet on NDSU to win will get you $3500
thats a quick way to lose a thousand
