At 2 years and 2 months on my loc journey I have not had any issues with lint yet. I don’t use conditioners in my locs. I do use oils and water and shampoo. I will keep this tip about brushing locs in the shower. As my locs grow longer, lint may become an issue. Tfs!
Hello Betty. Thank you for watching. Almost 2.5 years without lint is a flex 💪🏾 so cuddos to you. Hopefully there’ll never be a reason for you to have to get rid of lint in your locs. Have a blessed rest of the week.
I do brush my locs about twice a week, but I’ve never brushed my locs wet, that’s a great idea. I don’t have an issue with lint, but I brush to help with keeping my locs soft. I’ve had my locs for three years. I just started using a leave in conditioner, however, I was told to use the conditioner twice a week to avoid buildup. I’m going to add water to the conditioner, I like that idea too. I also use an Olive Oil Sheen Spray, that adds lightweight moisture and it makes my locs feel great.
Good video. I have had my locks for five years and I never have a problem with lint. I don’t use any oils or moisturizer in my hair and my hair so far is doing great. I like your idea to get rid of lint and I will tell anyone who has a problem with lint to watch your video. Your hair is beautiful.
Thank you for watching. How long have you had your locs? And what do you use for moisture and to combat dryness since you don’t use any oils or moisturizer.
I’ll be 3 years loc’d on July 8th. I first noticed lint the end of last year. Do I care? Nope lol whatever the brush can’t get out will be covered with jet black hair dye

Thank you for sharing Cheryl. You have just given me an extra step: Olive oil sheen spray. I’ll try it and see how I like it 🩷

The black dye trick doesn’t really work 😫
@@victoriad.1616 I’m assuming you’ve tried it before. How did that turn out?
