Good information!!! was having issues trying to do the same via UAD Apollo. Makes things messy trying to get it to return back to the force. Your method made it much easier to deal with when creating new tracks. Thank you!
I made a comment on how you could do this for resampling by recording the signal coming from output 3/4, into input 1/2, and someone this might damage the inputs on the force, is there any merit in that argument or should everything be fine? (I can't think of a reason personally why this would damage it, but I already bricked one force and want to be extra careful)
I dont see a reason why line level input into Force should cause any damage, however I’ve seen reports on damaged inputs on the Force on the interwebs, so….
@@xrcstrecords yeah true, I mean with phantom power off AND using TRS I would think it would be ok. I'm going to try this with boss gt-1000core, hopefully all goes well
by design there must be some latency, I didn't measure it though and didn't notice any amjor latency. Anyway this should be fine for non-tempo based effects like reverb...

Glad it helped!
Never thought that external should be used with Returns. Good information, thank you!
A life saver!!! Thank you so much!!
VERY helpful video, thanks.
Very helpful, thank you! I would love to hook up some pedals to the force.
Cool. Very helpful.
Nice

Could I use the aka force as a effects unit for my dj mixer?
It should work, exactly in reverse as in the video I guess
good not to make mistakes because you wouldnt have told us about it!
What about the latency? Is there much of a difference?
