This was so inspiring and fun to watch. I just enjoy your beautiful work. I am going to use your idea for a prayer focused give away in our Emmaus Community. Its perfect for sharing God's His truth, His word. Melina, you have made my day. May you be abundantly blessed today and always. Prayers for your Mom on her upcoming surgery. We are praying for the surgeons and all medical staff and for you and your family too, especially your sweet Mom. Hugs and many blessings.
Great video and great product you made. Love them! Thanks for showing us all the different ways you showed of achieving a similar result. I also loved how you showed us the final product and then went back to show how you achieved it. Not all you tubers do that. I’ve subscribed from Australia😊🇦🇺
Wow! For once I have all the tools you used! Love these, will make them today! Just a tip, turn the die around and only cut the part that wasn't cut. Don't rerun the strip portion that has been cut through again. I never get mine lined up and only cutting what is left will prevent that.
Oooh - those are cute! I really like the ones you cut by hand. Another alternative for the perforated lines...a tracing wheel. I have a “needle point” style that punches holes in the paper easily.
For a different look on the corners of your tickets, punch the scallop side of the corner chomper then use the stub side on the same corner. It is definitely not a traditional look but it looks good. I love your videos and love these tags. I have just recently found your channel and am watching a lot of your videos. Thank you for sharing your time and your creativity.
Adorable project. First time at your channel. I love your ideas. You have a wonderful voice too I haven’t actually made a junk journal yet but I am obsessed with all the videos out there. I’ve bought a few papers and other items. I’m currently a hobby Stampin up demonstrator but now I’d like to dabble in this too. Thank you for sharing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️😊
I don't know if you are notified when someone un-subscribes or not. I did tonight as I'm no longer receiving notifications when you put up a new video. And then I re-subscribed. I heard this can help the notifications. I hope so as I want to see all of your videos! I feel like we are in the same room and you are chatting with me as you create your next master piece. TFS! Hugs from South Dakota 🤗
Thank you! These are so simple and gorgeous. I have so many strips of paper that I can use this way. I've been really wanting to make some tickets too 💞👍
What a beautiful selection of ticket tickets you do such beautiful job. I hope your mom is doing OK haven't seen her lately this week so I know she was pushed behaving some work up done. Praying that she's doing all right.
Thank you so much! She is. Her sight isn’t any better of course but she has seen her specialist/surgeon and had her pre-op testing done. She feels good about the facility, doctor, staff, etc. We are hoping the little trip we are all going on before she has the procedure will help her a lot. We leave in 6 days. She’ll have her procedure the first week of April.
Love these tickets! You do beautiful collage work but I think I like the plain cardstock ones the best. Girl, you cracked me up about the glue sniffing. Isn't it crazy the smells we like? Thanks for all you do!
😂😂😂 Thanks so much!! Yes! It’s crazy how good that smell is and the fact that I purposely close it each time after I use it so I won’t linger too close. I here my parents voices when I was a teenager every time with the don't do x y z talks!!! “don’t do drugs. don’t huff paint.don’t use someone else’s hairbrush. don’t take someone else’s medicine. don’t drink and drive. don’t hit your sister. and don’t be a glue sniffer.” 😂😂😂 I didn’t do any of the horrible ones, ever. But don’t ask my sister anything about that one thing…. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you, I love these! Next on my list to try. I will get my 5 year old to help with the ‘master board’ gluing and sticking and he can make his own pretend train/bus tickets - he will love it 🥰 from sunny (it’s actually sunny today!) England x
I'm loving these tickets. Your Mom did some just using the hole punch so I will try that. I have dies but sometimes I like to do it by hand. Thanks for sharing Melina.🙂❤
I love these tags! I will try making these. I need some goodies for my journal that I am working on and these will be perfect! Lord knows I have plenty of scraps that I need to use up! 😂😂😂 Thank you! ❤
Why do you sprinkle the ink on it instead of spraying it, since it is a spray bottle? Just wondering. Can you reference the brush you use for the collaging?
Hi! Spraying it doesn’t give me splatters. Spraying it usually gives an even coating of the ink or a circular pattern of sprayed ink. I never have liked that look much. I like splatters and spots of ink. Those are silicone spreaders.. They are amazing! The clean up for themselves so easy too. Just let whatever you get on them, dry. Then it peels right off. We have them in our shop. www.scrapbookingwithme.com
I’m new to junk journaling so maybe this is a stupid question? Why not just buy a roll of plain tickets from Walmart and color and/or collage/stamp on them? Would save a lot of time and work.
For me it’s the art of creating. I love making something beautiful out of essentially nothing, scraps. This is therapy for me. I love working with my hands. I love making collage boards. Collaged paper is a thing a beauty to me. Then seeing what comes of the collage is always a rewarding feeling. Store bought tickets are fine to use. But I say there’s no effort to that. I wouldn’t appreciate the piece I’m working on as much if there was hardly any effort put into it. Also, the thought of making those hideous primary colored ticket rolls pretty or the way I like them sounds dreadful. Ha ha! But that’s just me! 😂😂😂
@@MelinaPylant I understand your point. I have arthritis in my hands so all the cutting for perforation is hard. I like the way you collage on them. Maybe if I try the cheap ones in a roll and add enough they will be ok. I enjoy the creative aspect of journaling but have to adapt it to my abilities. When I was young like you I would consider doing it your way. 😍
They turned out so cute and are uniquely yours. Thanks for sharing.
I now know where all my scraps are going! These are so pretty and simple to make. No two tickets are alike. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Thanks so much!
Always enjoy the msscrapbusters videos!
Thanks so much!
Oh my these are adorable! My eyeballs cant get enough. All the pretty colors. 😊
Thank you! 🤗
I also love that we are using up our scraps - feels so good :)
Yes! It feels so good to use them up!
All the styles are beautiful!! 😍 Thank you Melina!
Yay, thank you!

For perforation, you could get a tracing wheel they use in sewing for pattern making.
Oooh - those are cute! I really like the ones you cut by hand. Another alternative for the perforated lines...a tracing wheel. I have a “needle point” style that punches holes in the paper easily.
Tracing wheel...thank you. Just gave away sewing machine!!!
Yes! I wish I had one of those. It will have to be on my next Walmart list!
@@MelinaPylant - I think I have an extra one if you’d like to have it.

These are so nice. Another way to get the perforated edge is to use hair thinning scissors. Works so good, and looks perfect.

On those small circle punches with the catcher, if you take off the catcher then it's easier to punch exactly where you want.
Lovely!

hold the phone! What was that crop-a-dile you used to make the ticket? It punched out 1/2 circle on 4 corners.
It was just a 1/4” circle punch, partially on the corner. I didn’t punch out the full circle on the corners.
