Can we get more handicap friendly commutes also? Green line is absolutely impossible and ALL of the elevators going from Braintree into Boston Children's smell like pee.
A 45-minute walk before an 8-9-hour shift isn't necessarily everyone's cup of tea. It's also often too cold or too hot to do that walk comfortably. Hospital workers like us are expected to report whether there's a blizzard or not. That said, when the weather is nice, I have definitely opted to walk *home* rather than deal with the 66.
I work in a school and I had to take the 66 and the orange line to work every day. I was miserable and late every day to work. Also the walk from the orange line to my school was about 18 minutes and there was no other way to bring me closer. It was the MBTA that pushed me to just buying a car to make my commute easier. If I relied on public transportation I don’t think I would be working at the same place for this long. It’s unfortunate cuz I know there are people that can’t even get cars and the public transportation is the only way. I really hope they do something to improve it for those still using it every day.
The 66 Bus is definitely one MBTA bus line that could be BRT'd. Every Key Bus on the MBTA map should be BRT. But long term (but not too long) the MBTA needs to have an Urban Ring light metro or heavy rail subway in place.
The Mayor should visit Woods-Mullen Shelter. The food is horrible, cold waffles, too spicy food, broken water fountains.
She's a tik tok mayor. Celebrity is the only goal
I've been complaining about this bus since 2020 none one said nothing but when and other complains that when it gets notice smh
Oh pls start fixing the problems here in Boston instead of shutting down our rec centers

This is just for entertainment nothing will be done! Have a nice day!
If you can walk, it would be good. Exercise is essential.

I grew up on that street! The 66 has always been miserable.
Was Molly invited to the colored people only party or did she have to sit that one out because she’s white? Sooo progressive.

Horrible Mayor
The 66 is always packed. 😢
the 66 should be a subway line. it's the wheel, while the current lines are the spokes
Get an electric bike Molly, 2 miles is nothing!!
Do you live in Massachusetts or....
I live in Boston and bike 2.5 miles to work four days a week and it takes me 15 minutes

Hasn't been an issue this winter at all
There have been maybe 2-3 days this winter where I had to take the train or the bus, or just walk
