      I heard the resort pronounced a few ways. I most likely butchered it! The Iceland series is going to be worse! 🤷‍♀️

    We don't have car and want to do xcaret, chichen itza and tulum tour from this resort. Can you please tell us the cost and how/where to book this for reasonable price?

    • @TravelingAtoZ
      @TravelingAtoZ  9 месяцев назад +1

      You can book at the resort the different tours with transportation to the different activities. We also booked some of the activities with Viator (and made sure the would have a transfer from the resort). The costs where similar when we compared booking with the resort or Viator.

    this was great and thorough. thank you! I'm looking at staying here during spring next year. how did you feel about how they handle covid precautions? and were you able/was it easy to travel outside of the resort to do some sightseeing or tours? or is this not really the place to stay if traveling to do some adventure activities?

    • @TravelingAtoZ
      @TravelingAtoZ  2 года назад +1

      The resort had very good Covid precautions and we felt very safe during our stay. The resort is kind of in the middle of nowhere and it’s about an hour drive from Cancun in 25 minutes and Playa Del Carmen. They do have tour buses that stop at the resort. If you want to do some cenote adventures it’s fairly close. In a few weeks will have a video out on the pros and cons of the resort and what our opinions are.

    Does the resort provide covid testing to return back to the US? was there a fee?? Thanks!

    • @TravelingAtoZ
      @TravelingAtoZ  2 года назад +1

      Yes you can setup an appointment with them. It does cost. I am not sure how much.
      We brought our own certified covid antigen test from home and used the WiFi so we could do it whenever we wanted on our own time.

    MANY questions! just booked this for Feb 2022, booked with the Bliss, can I walk around and use all the pools?

    • @TravelingAtoZ
      @TravelingAtoZ  2 года назад

      You can use the big pool that everyone uses. You also can use the beach club which is exclusive to the bliss and the luxxe. There are probably about a 10 minute walk away from each other.
      At the beach club you have to go to the front and reserve a cabana or a lounge chair for the day (which is free, but the do fill up).
      Next week we will put out a pros and cons video about staying at the resort, which may answer some of your questions. If not feel free to ask.

      We just returned Saturday after a week there - reserved the Bliss and got upgraded to Luxxe 1BR for a tour. We own unit at Nuevo Vallarta FWIW. This was our 7th time at this resort and they have over 3000 workers supporting this place. Jungala opened 2y ago and we spent 1 day there for first time, very worthwhile if you like the water, a very long lazy river with swim up bar of course... enjoy!

    What tours do you recommend?

    • @TravelingAtoZ
      @TravelingAtoZ  2 года назад +2

      Around the Vidanta Resort you’re close to cenote’s which are sinkholes. I recommend going and exploring them. Rio Secreto was really neat which you can take a walking tour through a river with stalagmites and stalactites. If you like to snorkel or dive I recommend exploring some of the cenote‘s this way also. You are fairly close to Tulum so seeing the ruins is neat.
      From the hotel we saw a lot of people getting on the Xcaret, bus which is an active amusement park. We did not go to the park this trip, but I have done it before and enjoy it. We have a few videos of some of our tours we did if you are interested.

      I agree. The lighting is not as good as we have now. We got a new camera so the lighting is a little better in some of our more recent videos.
