Considering most of the AAA games coming out now are just copy&paste versions of other games, these two games are some of the few I'm really looking forward to.
Kuro Neko Nyaa yeah, it was confirmed last year at e3, the devs said so. I try never to view anything not coming out on ps4. it would be stupid for me to get hyped for a game on xbox I could never play, so I just save myself the disapointment by just not watching, but this I remember I made sure was on ps4, so no worries there bro.
Funny, i cant find any official confirmation from developer anywhere. Also, the Talesword are quite small group so they are focusing only pc version, i´ll guess it will come later like the original M&B..
Like many I pledged a mighty sum since the beginning of KCD on kickstarter and now it's almost here! Was going to be this year normally, but it has been delayed to next year february, but still hyped after all those years, Warhorse Studios really did an awesome job developing this game and they know how to do it (Daniel Vavra also worked on Mafia for example).
Been waiting for a game like this all my life! How has no other Dev team thought to give this kind of game attention. The game having no publishe may say something about what the industry deemed worthy of effort. EA would be like, where can microtransactions and multiplayer come into it?
They also used HEMA ( Historical European Martial Arts). Their was manuals written by fencing Masters or other fencers. for instance I studied a German Master Joachim Meyer who had a published book in 1570. In the book he tells you how to use the longsword dussak rappier dagger wrestling staff halberd and pike. In the game guards like Ocks, Tag can be seen . The cutting and parring ( they cut at you with and oberhau high cut you use hanging and then cut back at them). HEMA is more complicated then they show but it's still interesting and cool they added it.
I think they hit a good balance of realism and playability. Real HEMA is more complicated like you said, but it's also faster and focuses on not telegraphing your moves. But, in a game like this you need to have some form of telegraph because there is a delay between a player seeing and reacting to something and the game actually doing it.
spitfire 01. yes there are several books that were written. oldest is a German 1.33 sword and buckler in 1295. this is a good site to look at the resources most are German but there are some Italian and English. www.wiktenauer.com/
#301club This game has looked amazing for all the time I've been following it and I'm so glad it finally has a release date! It's so nice to see an indie team pull something off on this scale :)
Me looking forward to it? I Kickstarted it. The second I saw it I knew I was going to donate to it. It seems to have taken forever to come but it looks like a great investment.
Ahh okay, I get it now. You were just excited to tell everyone you were among the first ones to support Warhorse Studios. It's just like my 8 years old cousin who is always eager to tell he did something first, full of excitement just like you.
I was too poor when it first came out on Kickstarter so I convinced my mate to back it, I think we ended up getting the $250 tier. I've been following this game closely ever since, can't believe so much time has past but I'm glad it's almost here.
best thing about KCD is the mods thats gonna come thanks to the dev for allowing for full control tools to mod and Bethesda slapping the hell out the modding community
I hope there will be a second part, maybe covering other parts of the Holy Roman Empire. For me the game seems to be a must buy... also I'll be looking forward to people that didn't do their homework crying over the internet about how they can't stab an enemy through his plate armour with their swords :D
This game looks really immersive; first person, deep combat and a minimal HUD. I dont really buy new games these days because they are often released buggy and unfinished ( eg Fallout 4, FFXV) but I just might get this day one because of how appealing it is.
Like some other guys in the comments, I am surprised (but glad) about so many people that hadn´t heard about and are just now discovering it. Kingdom Come has all the elements to become a great game.
I remember like 8-9 months ago when I asked the access crew if they were excited for this game and they had not heard of it yet. I'm gald to see they are seemingly as excited for it as I am!! Can't wait to see more of it. 👍
I'm surprised the framerate is already this good. I've been following this game on PC and most PC's can't even maintain a steady 60 fps. Hoping for the best, because this games looks like an amazing medieval simulator.
"most PC's can't even maintain a steady 60 fps" It's because you've been watching videos of an unoptimized Beta version from March 2016. The Beta hasn't been updated since.
trey daniel stfu dude its nothing NOTHING like the elder scrolls try to tell me at least TWO things similar to the elder scrolls and this game and then i would change my mind, the devs themselves said they HATED the elder scrolls series and skyrim one of them even made a video on why he hates the elder scrolls
For me I think the visuals are similar as well as the map at the top of the screen. Quite frankly the the map is what really does it for me cause I spent so much time staring at it in Oblivion and loved the style of it. That's it, I agree that the rest of the game isn't like Oblivion. Sorry my opinion pisses you off that much.
Just so you guys know, there is not going to be a lot of encumbrance from heavy plate. Heavy plate was objectively better in every way than other armors. It have full protection a barely constricted ones movements at all. You won't be slower at all. The only thing that will go down is your stamina I assume, it got hot in full plate and it was kind of hard to breathe. The only real disadvantage to full plate is it's immense cost. It's unlikely that the main character in the game will ever own full plate. He may be loaned it to him by a count or rich knight, but there is no way someone lacking noble birth could ever afford full plate as properly made full plate would cost as much as a peasant made in several full lifetimes.
A couple of days ago, I made a list of the games I want from E3 and then I started to refine it because obviously I can't buy everything and yesterday I took this off my list... and now after this video I've put it back on! Back to square one!
This game sure looks like a fairly realistic representation of history- certainly far more so than any other game out there- but it still has plenty of shortcomings in terms of historical accuracy and I worry that people will take this game to be perfectly 100% accurate even though it's not. It still looks like a lot of fun though.
In real history -The hungarian king who got involved was brother of Bohemian king, I know it is confusing, but they actually had same father and came from same dynasty. Bohemian King is older brother and Hungarian is the younger and heir to his childless brother. He eventually became king of Bohemia himself. - I didn't play the game yet, so I am not sure if they done it according to history, but in real life that's how it was.
I don't know really, we learnt this all at school, as it is part of our history. I'm sure there would be something in czech language, but I doubt there would be many english sources. But wikipedia has bit about it, at least about how Zikmund(and yes, that's how we write Sigismund in czech) became king of hungary, but the imprisoment of his brother and the whole conflict is bit of mystery to me too. But I do believe this subject must be discussed on game forum, so try look there.
Yep googled sigismund and wenceslaw conflict and it really is on game forum, the brief history prior to 1403. I believe it will have all you wish to know.
It feels like you've been transported back in time and can affect the outcome of a known history, whereas the Elder Scrolls games are fantastical worlds, created for exploration or entertainment.
"Will Kingdom Come: Deliverance be the new Elder Scrolls?" Does KC:D have magic? Elves? Spells? An open world filled with more dangerous things than soldiers and bandits? Does it have an extensive and detailed character creation? Does it have the broad opportunites like numerous guilds/factions? Does it have extremely varied side-characters? Does it have supernatural weapon and armor types? So no, it's not the new Skyrim and its definately not the new Elder Scrolls. They are almost nothing alike.
I'm a huge fan of realistic games, but it would be funny AF to have some kind of small optional DLC later that puts in some horror-detective quest with some kind of monster, like a werewolf. I mean, it can be a guy in a suit afterall. But something as a nod to fantasy games.
Kingdom Come < honest review > - you care ride a horse (just yours only) - you can eat, trade steal SOME stuff - you can change your gear set with VERRY few options - you can headshoot everyone pfff - you can sleep and NOT skip much time... - you can learn some boring moves with the sword bla bla that will put u sleep in no time conclusion : game for people that cant sleep...play it for like 5 minutes and fall a sleep in no time.
Alduizard why not? lol they are the most successful and widely played. should I not compare fantasy with sci-fi characteristics to star wars? should I not compare mob movies to godfather? it's just a way if talking about new things, no so srs!!!
Billy Overton yes they are most widely known but at their core, they are very different and one of a kind. Open world RPGs like Kingdom Come Deliverance and Witcher 3 focuses on a well scripted story with dialogue choices and different paths whereas skyrim and other bethesda rpg focuses on role playing more with your own story, actions and playstyle rather than the dialogue. Yes, vaguely we can compare them coz they belong in the same genre but we shouldn't expect kingdom come to provide the same experience as skyrim bcz they are very different.
I believe from other comments we can already see all the good things about this game like graphic, combat, dialogues but now I'd like to say a few things that i hope the developer can fix before they release the game. The animations look a bit weird sometimes, especially when you have a conversation with NPCs. Both your character and npc just stand there awkwardly it is almost like the only thing that move during conversation is the facial animations and also i think we need more blood, especially when you stab enemies. I could hardly see any blood coming out from the enemies or maybe it just me.
''The RPG That's Like Real Life Elder Scrolls''
It's called a medieval game
So here's this giant enemy crab
Thomas Almond XDD
nice meme!
Too funny XD burst out laughing every time i think of that
e3? if yes then damn long time no hear
Dang, I was going to say that.
I want this game. What a success story! I hope it sells well B/C this is a game made with a lot of heart.
Your grammar is not made with a lot of "heart" though
Nah...more like grammar nazi if I say so myself!
it's surprising to me how many people actually didn't know about this game😟
Yeah, I have been hyping for this game for so long now xD
Sy A Pe I didn't until I watched this video, but it looks really good.
I thought everybody and their mum knew about this game by now.
Maybe it depends on what circles you hang out in.
The circles I hang out in unfortunately have corners. I don't get far.
Sy A Pe i think its because it started as a Kickstarter project, so it didnt get much recognition triple AAA games get
Been waiting for the game for years, same as Mount and Blade Bannerlord!
Yup I annoyed my little brother over it so much lel, im hyped about the release date!
Considering most of the AAA games coming out now are just copy&paste versions of other games, these two games are some of the few I'm really looking forward to.
Bannerlord, there is still no word about ps4 version.

There is no multiplayer since they focused on realism. You can however get a frickin sword in real live if you pre-order.
Kyle H yeah and after this comes out there will be tonnes
Thank you for your support, glad you like the idea of our game. :)
when can you fit another livestream to tell us about the updates?
some time after E3 :)
Oh man the "strong and stable" joke really got me haha
I found it a bit weak and wobbly tbh
A joke for the few, not the many
Sloth Empire This is a coalition of comments!
Sloth Empire explain please
Wow, this actually looks really good.
But, in a game like this you need to have some form of telegraph because there is a delay between a player seeing and reacting to something and the game actually doing it.
Europeans developed Martial Arts?!
Woh
spitfire 01. yes there are several books that were written. oldest is a German 1.33 sword and buckler in 1295. this is a good site to look at the resources most are German but there are some Italian and English. www.wiktenauer.com/
Martin Younger Okay. That whole site is really cool. And.. after looking through... I kinda want to learn Roman martial arts now.
Martin Younger yea and your never going to use those skills ever in this time and age
Kingdom come, more like here I come
nice
I wanted this game as soon as I saw the first trailer about a year ago.
Yup.. Same here I saw a beta trailer and fell in love.
I can't wait till Skallagrim, Shadiversity, and The Metatron get a look at this game.
Concentric Octagons they did i think
Yes, they all talked about Kingdom Come: Deliverance already.
Warhorse Studios will you show new gameplay? like the fighting mechanics?
What do you mean, there is a lot of fighting in the video?
Danny-Elite wtf

This game has looked amazing for all the time I've been following it and I'm so glad it finally has a release date! It's so nice to see an indie team pull something off on this scale :)
Oh wow, Feb 13 huh! Missed that news. Sure is amazing to here a date after all this time seeing it progress. Looks incredible :)
Its valentine day.. I finnally have a date for valentines day! :D
yikes, this took a turn
indie team? their company is owned and financed by one of the richest businessman in Czech republic.
bakala nemá ve WH žádný majetkový podíl, takže je nikdo nevlastní a o tom, kolik do nich zatím nasypal peněz a kolik je ještě ochotný do nich nasypat peněz, neví kromě Bakaly a Vávry nikdo vůbec nic. Thank you for your support :)
Warhorse Studios No, thank you for such a great game. I can't wait for full release 😀
DividSmythe Same. I Kickstarted the day it was posted.
No one cares when you did and what you did. "My dad has better and bigger car than your dad has!" Like Jesus, how old are you guys 10?
Ahh okay, I get it now. You were just excited to tell everyone you were among the first ones to support Warhorse Studios. It's just like my 8 years old cousin who is always eager to tell he did something first, full of excitement just like you.
Woah! It's like Skyrim with swords!
MultiRv90 skyrim has swords and this game is nothing like elder scrolls nothing
Kingofcrossover Mrcross Shut the hell up
Kingofcrossover Mrcross bro, this looks exactly like Skyrim and YES it does have swords. Did you even watch the gameplay?
Dakota Krafick dude, i have the alpha, just got done playing it, and it's nothing like skyrim, calm down.
Kenny Dixson you're only saying that because it has swords.
Last time I've seen the game it was hardly running on a pc and now it runs on ps4. Great job optimizing the game!
yeah bro and just look at those graphics they managed to squeeze from the ps4!! use of cryengine at its best!!
I've been following this game for years
I was too poor when it first came out on Kickstarter so I convinced my mate to back it, I think we ended up getting the $250 tier. I've been following this game closely ever since, can't believe so much time has past but I'm glad it's almost here.
The best thing about E3 so far is that we get to hear/see more Hollie
Animations & facial expressions in cut scenes improved a lot in this game (compared to the beta)
Been following this since the first footage was released years ago. There's so much potential with this.
It's out on PC in beta and looks amazing. Can't wait for my console broskis to enjoy it too. Should be quite the unique RPG experience.
I've been waiting so long for this. I hope this small developer, can live up to my expectations.
This game definitely has the most realistic forests I've ever seen
best thing about KCD is the mods thats gonna come thanks to the dev for allowing for full control tools to mod and Bethesda slapping the hell out the modding community
Yes, we want to have mod support after release :)
Warhorse Studios I hope so to bro
I hope there will be a second part, maybe covering other parts of the Holy Roman Empire.
For me the game seems to be a must buy... also I'll be looking forward to people that didn't do their homework crying over the internet about how they can't stab an enemy through his plate armour with their swords :D
undertakernumberone1 replace plate armor with gambeson and you have my complaint
Maybe. But after this it is more likely that they continue with the Hussite Wars.
i am pretty sure they plan to go over to Hussite Wars in futire games (not sure about other parts of HRE as the devs are from CZ)
the story is planned to have 3 parts the developer said
Sweemops 3 parts but this game will contain most of the originally planned two, afaik
Oh wow, unbelievable... i was resigned to waiting for years for this to come to ps4! Can't wait for this to come out
This is one of those games that reiterates the need for me to get a PC.
Yep. This and seeing shadow of war in 60fps is just a godsend
Emmanuel Turner the gameplay was on a ps4 tho
CJ I know.
It wasn't. Check 3:09
This game looks really immersive; first person, deep combat and a minimal HUD.
I dont really buy new games these days because they are often released buggy and unfinished ( eg Fallout 4, FFXV) but I just might get this day one because of how appealing it is.
Been following this game from the start, it's finally almost here!
This looks amazing, I'm well sold on it. The menu/inventory screen looks clean ripped from oblivion. Love the time period too
Like some other guys in the comments, I am surprised (but glad) about so many people that hadn´t heard about and are just now discovering it. Kingdom Come has all the elements to become a great game.
How are you only just finding out about this now?
I remember like 8-9 months ago when I asked the access crew if they were excited for this game and they had not heard of it yet. I'm gald to see they are seemingly as excited for it as I am!! Can't wait to see more of it. 👍
I'm sold. This game has come along way!
Backed this game way back in 2014 glad to see it shown some light.
I've been waiting for this for ages, really excited
Wow it runs so smooth on PS4, cant wait for PC then!
one of the things I'm happiest about backing on Kickstarter. can't wait :-)
I just can't wait to explore this world, just wander the woods and hunt rabbits and stuff. Oh and get revenge for murdered family of course :p
id love to see what warhorse does next year. id REALLY love to see them do a fantasy game.
Chivalry meets Mount and Blade. This game looks damn good!
Been looking forward to this for what seems like forever.
I've been paying attention to this game for about 3 years now. I'm excited to see what it's fully turned into
Wow! This looks incredible. You guys are not wrong. I really want to play it!
I'm gunna log so many hours in this world... can't wait
My historically accurate medieval poop throwing simulation dreams fulfilled.
I'm getting serious Oblivion vibes from this game and I love it
trey daniel stfu dude its nothing NOTHING like the elder scrolls try to tell me at least TWO things similar to the elder scrolls and this game and then i would change my mind, the devs themselves said they HATED the elder scrolls series and skyrim one of them even made a video on why he hates the elder scrolls
TECHNO504, that interface menu is just like the one in oblivion. Every one has noticed that.
I've watched beta gameplay and it looks amazing. enjoy the game for me!!!
Been playing the Beta on PC since pre orders went live, it is a beautiful looking game.
Nice to see Kingdom Come getting some more attention. Excited for this one.
This looks like dope, really looking foreward to playing this!
Best presentation of this great looking game. Thanks you guys!
I had seen that clip, but not the documentary. It actually was a really accurate documentary.
This looks pretty awesome
With a new Elder Scrolls game looking further away than ever, this game may just be that fresh new experience everyone was waiting for!
I've been looking forward to this game for a while now. Getting extremely pumped now!
This is basically the idea behind the simulation theory of the universe. Maybe the start of proof we live in a simulation or a video game. Terrific.
A couple of days ago, I made a list of the games I want from E3 and then I started to refine it because obviously I can't buy everything and yesterday I took this off my list... and now after this video I've put it back on! Back to square one!
wow, now this i like alot. I love mount and blade on the ps4 so this looks awesome.
This looks really interesting. Looking forward to it.
holy moly! how are these graphics even possible!!! absolutely no difference between the real life and the virtual one!!
Such a brilliant game & concept. Cannot wait to play it
Every time a new Fantasy RPG comes out: "IT'S THE NEW ELDER SCROLLS!"
Then the next Fantasy RPG comes out: "IT'S THE NEW ELDER SCROLLS!"
This game sure looks like a fairly realistic representation of history- certainly far more so than any other game out there- but it still has plenty of shortcomings in terms of historical accuracy and I worry that people will take this game to be perfectly 100% accurate even though it's not. It still looks like a lot of fun though.
This looks EXTREEEEEEME.......
EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEMMEEE
I've been waiting for this game since ESO did his walk through on the Beta version. I will be getting this game.
this looks so much better then the current backer beta. I am very pleased!
It looks great but the audio during the skirmish sounds so mild and tame
Looks really interesting, got me excited.
I was a bit puzzled by your title. But that game looks brilliant., something I'd definitely play :)
I really want this game man. I hope it wont come out with other big releases. I wont have time to play all of them.
I was looking forward for this for some time
In real history -The hungarian king who got involved was brother of Bohemian king, I know it is confusing, but they actually had same father and came from same dynasty. this grass tho... simply amazing
I'm pretty sure I'm gonna like this game a lot.
It feels like you've been transported back in time and can affect the outcome of a known history, whereas the Elder Scrolls games are fantastical worlds, created for exploration or entertainment.
So now I get to be a Lawbringer in a historically accurate setting? Niiiice
I don't usually get hyped for a game, but shit! I can not wait for this.
looks very promising
"Will Kingdom Come: Deliverance be the new Elder Scrolls?"

So no, it's not the new Skyrim and its definately not the new Elder Scrolls. They are almost nothing alike.
Only in how they handle how skill level up
I'm a huge fan of realistic games, but it would be funny AF to have some kind of small optional DLC later that puts in some horror-detective quest with some kind of monster, like a werewolf. I mean, it can be a guy in a suit afterall. But something as a nod to fantasy games.
Kingdom Come < honest review >
- you care ride a horse (just yours only)
- you can eat, trade steal SOME stuff
- you can change your gear set with VERRY few options
- you can headshoot everyone pfff
- you can sleep and NOT skip much time...
- you can learn some boring moves with the sword bla bla that will put u sleep in no time
conclusion : game for people that cant sleep...play it for like 5 minutes and fall a sleep in no time.
Filthy Witcher scrub.
I notice I only seem to watch the videos with Rob, just caught that.
...Want. I want this now. Must Feb 2018 be so far away?
Ok... Need to wait.
"like, like, so like, yknow like, like..."
Love this concept!
Holy crap those environments though. Day one buy just for walking simulation alone. Let alone also being an RPG
The death animations are nice. They used to be a simple (and pretty bad) ragdoll.
correction its elder scrolls if it was good
It's funny cause this has been in development since 2014 and you guys just noticed it.
Thanks for video.
I can tell everyone REALLY wants this game to be good. I guess we'll see XD
great video
maybe one day they'll make a historical action RPG set in 2017
Dont compare every Open World RPG to Elder Scrolls ffs
Alduizard why not? lol they are the most successful and widely played. should I not compare fantasy with sci-fi characteristics to star wars? should I not compare mob movies to godfather? it's just a way if talking about new things, no so srs!!!

Jesus ps4 looks gloriously detailed thank you Sony.
