I love how people make comments saying this doesn’t work just because they don’t know how to use the machine or the machine doesn’t work “the way they think is should work” ….we’re not trying to run a business with this machine we just want eliminate the problem or least stabilize the issue
Good video and thanks for explaining about pyrethin type insecticide with this Ryobi One + Cordless Electric Fogger. Not just any insecticide works with this unit. It needs a water based insecticide to work since it's an ultra-low volume fogger.
ULV is typically around 15 microns to achieve optimum efficacy, this fogs at around 40… Plus, you can buy loads of oil based ULV fluids and there’s nothing I read on the box saying to only use water based liquids on this unit. But, bottom line, what he’s doing will work.
@@dataanalyst5704 I read it in the instruction manual, not to use oil based insecticide. Then I see some people mixing the recommended Insecticide with a little of permethrin 10% and some have had problems and others haven't, sooo I guess I'll just try it.
@@lilibeth100100 I only use Aquapy (water based) in this as, like you’ve seen, there’s ambiguity around what should be used and I’d rather the unit lasted as it’s a nice piece of equipment. It can go through liquid if you’re not paying attention too and it ain’t cheap.
Granted, it’s not suitable for a proper ULV treatment as it kicks out particles at around 40 microns so residually speaking it’s gonna linger but for what he’s doing it will work. Just worries me that bees are gonna die too, perhaps he could do in the evening to reduce the risk ?
Good little fogger. Pyrethrin works and is derived from the Chrysanthemum plant however it is toxic to pollinators! Better to use concentrated garlic oil. Works just as well, only on mosquitos as they hate the smell. Lasts about 30 days. Cheers😊
Nice video I just received my Ryobi I was wondering what do you mix Pyrethrin with? And do you do just the perimeter of the property I live on an acre can't sit outside.
This thing looks cool! I'm wondering if you can spray 2, 4-D in this thing to control creeping charley in a yard? Also, can you buy the tool only if you have other 18 volt Ryobi stuff? 🐀🐾
I would not use it for 2-4d. It probably wouldn't fog well and the amount of drift you would get would likely kill all of your plants. Just use a tank sprayer for more focused application.
You have to do your research I'm a DeWalt person have a lot of DeWalt tools but I didn't like like the DeWalt sprayer so I bought the Ryobi I also have an additional tool but they sell this at Home Depot for about 75 bucks without battery or charger but I found on Amazon for the same price it came with a battery and charger do your research.
@@Pelle0014 what’s wrong with the world is people not doing their research before they open their mouths. The concentration of pyrethrin used to treat plans is safe for animals, and is commonly used to treat mites on chickens.
Heads up, you should branch out and offer corona virus disinfection service. As an essential service, you'd still be working through a lockdown and your fogger is basically what Delta Airlines, buses and ambulances are using to apply disinfectant and clean a space fast without having to touch anything. I appreciate your review, btw.
@@ibextrades4934 You have Lowes/Home Depot? Can you order from there online? Got equivalent hardware stores locally? It's a super common tool you can probably go pick up now.
I just used the Fogger with the “garlic” mosquito concentrate plus water. I was amazed at how I never ran out. We have 3/4 of an acre for a back yard and had expected to refill. A little goes a long way. Too early to tell if it is working on the mosquitos. My question is, has anyone used their fogger with Mir Acid? Mir Acid is great on junipers and junipers are hard to reach all the nooks and crannies. Just wondering if anyone had tried Mir Acid in their fogger? It was minus 47 this winter and we have some winter burn. Mir Acid is doing the trick.
problem is...thats not a fogger...its a mist blower....most backpack mosquito machines are actually shooting mist not true fog.....see that in use...I'll stick to my Stihl SR200 for now...
Great way to poison yourself and others by not understanding the pesticides you are spraying. Excellent work teaching others how to shorten their lifespans like you did.
2023 at the Depot and this closed the sale. Thank you very much sir!
I swear Ryobi makes literally ever tool imaginable! Great video, thanks for making this.
Nope...they just license their name AOT
Okay I hope all of

Excellent video showing how it sprays. I bought one because of this video. Love the thing. Thanks!
Nice video man! I had no clue they even made such thing! That’s awesome! Never seen one of those diggers before

Explain how you mixed the Maggies farm up in that gallon milk jug. Can you show us the bottle of the Maggie’s you used and how you mixed it up? Thanks
Man, I thought he was just mixing it with milk 😂
Are you still using this machine? Mind providing an update on its durability?
Fogger is a bit of a misnomer, it really just makes a continuous mist, not a proper fog.

Great job! Thanks for the video!

Great Job !!!
Nice presentation sir
Thanks for then info! How long does that stuff last before you have to reapply to keep the bugs away?
Thinking of buying this or the electrostatic sprayer for this. Do you have any experience with the electrostatic one?
Why is my tank leaking
Praying Mantis was the best thing you had and you killed it.
I've kept them as pets before. The pet store sells exotic ones on occasion.

Any problems after rain?
What did you mix with the pryethrin?
Water
How much did u pay for it
Does it leave a humid residue? or water like drops?? thank you!
Yes, it sprays a mist
is it really a fogger or more mist? can i use it for mosquito?
Does it work?
Great review. Question: Can the spray nozzle be adjusted to a fine or coarse mist? Thanks in advance.
No it can't.
universal178 Thank you.
Good video
is it pet friendly pyrethin?
Yeah buddy, pet friendly poison. Thats a thing. Poison is poisonous to all. Or its not poison. This kind of logic is whats killing our world.

Hi can we get these in Australia?

More like a sprayer to me. I guess I can only get the smoke fogger effect if I use propane damn. I don't really wanna mess with propane
rip praying mantis... he didn't pray hard enough
I have one and it sprays a stream from the center, and does not fog very well. Save your money and buy something better.
I have one and fogs wonderfully like this video. If I tilt the fogger it will spray a stream so all I do is level it.
That thing doesn't put out much fog at all.
great vid thx
Thanks
With all of that overgrowth you you don't really need a fogger. You just need Roundup and some sheers to cut that mess out of the fence.
What was the mix ratio. And the names of the stuff you used.
label
is it a fogger or a sprayer?
Says FOGGER on the Box
Don't use a milk jug, some kid might mistake it for milk!
You know the kid who ate the most marbles typically died. Survival of the fittest. Parents need to parent.
My mom as a kid pretended to drink poison one time. My grandparents gave her syrup of ipecac. She didn't do it anymore.
it doesn't make correct mist
No fog just spray …mistake

This is much lighter on the back, having a back issue myself and not being able to use a heavy backpack sprayer, i might get one of these
Get Probed stihl is for professional job, this is good for beginners
This product works great with ULV insecticide 👍. Love mine!
You like getting probed? 🤣🤣🤣
I bought one of these from my homes and love it for the price and the times I use it.
Doesn't look like a fogger.more like a sprayer
Well since fog is tiny moisture droplets I’d say maybe this is a true fogger. The other ones maybe should be called smokers. Lol
Better propane insect fogger than electric fogger stuff
I bought one it's awesome. Use it to blast hornets
Works great for blasting beds with too bag the mattress and fog it.
sniff
Great vid, thanks for posting it! I am off to wage war! LOL

I guess you have zero clue what pyrethrin is or does huh? Just like to be one of those social justice keyboard warriors with no life.
Weak asf looks to my eyes. 😂
Garbage lol . The BlackFlag Fogger smokes the Yard like a ROCK CONCERT. Push button ignitor for propane so no lighter needed lol.
Yea id rather fog
Fogger is much better application. Using propane is no big deal. You just screw bottle on and press & spray
Sounds like he should have worn an n95
