Not sure why it doesn't work for you. I've used this method since mid 1970's and it worked then, and still does. I have learned that using a travel wrinkle steamer directly on the document a few inches away to be the easiest way.

i thought you could only leave prints on shiny things or things that arent porous?
are you going to show how to do this using cyanoacrylate?
