don't get me wrong ksenja, i still am so in love with your declutter videos!!!! we would love more of them as well, just some suggestions in case you needed some!
This isn't the same for every influencer, but going back to your example of falling in and out of love with another person and people not saying anything - I think people would probably say similar if they decluttered relationships as much after saying they were so in love with a person. That said, people are allowed to end relationships, declutter whatever they want. It's not a big deal. But I also see why some might have something to say (regardless if they should). They feel like they're being lied to (not by you, by anyone who says "I love [x] so much." And then declutters it a month later). I am not trying to be neg or anything like that - and I personally don't care if someone declutters. But I can also understand why some people would have some red flags regarding influencers who talk lovingly about a product that they end up saying goodbye to with a swiftness. It's really not that deep though.
So it's not mistaken... some influencers really do hype something because they're sponsored or because they want people to click on their affiliate links. So you can have honest influencers but it's hard to tell them apart. I don't think this is the case with Ksenja and I do think people need to go touch some grass. lol
Agreed, especially with the falling out of like/love with someone. End things and stop leading others on and same with perfumes, stop forcing yourself to like something if you don't and hopefully try to find someone who does love it or even better donate to a women's shelter and let those less fortunate experience some luxury in their hard times. I also don't try to buy anything based off of one review or a quick review, as soon as something comes out people either hate it or love it. If I see it in their favs in multiple videos, especially spanding a couple of months I know that buy is worth it. It also tells you which perfumes can become staples and not just good for the time it was bought and how some perfumes settle. Even with perfumes influencers hate, I wait until they experience it again and give their updated opinions to better understand if I'll like it or not.
The color you’re wearing looks so good on you and your makeup is super pretty in this vid! Also, I love declutters and hearing why people change their minds or fall out of love. Our body chemistry changes, our lives change, we change AND when you declutter perfumes it gives other people opportunities to try them, sooo…. Yeah. Haha. Love your videos! ❤
hey girl just a marie condo type tip for decluttering that i love: instead of asking "would i use this/what would i use this for" it's usually more helpful to ask "what would i use if i didn't have this?" because you can always come up with reasons to keep things, but most of the time there's always something else that you already have that would achieve the same effect
I know you probably love having the beautiful bottles, but this is just an idea - have you considered making small decants to keep of the perfumes you declutter? That way you still have a few ml of it for reference and it’s not completely leaving you, but it would take up so much less space!
I think people get mad because they feel mislead somwtimes. Because when you look for the right perfume and don't have many, nor money to buy them, and you trust some inflencer soo much and they say someything in the line of "this is fantastic, you need this in your life" and then throw it the week after and say they don't care for it much and declutter it... It can feel a bit like they're not genuine - like they're hyping for content and don't care about peoples trust. I have stopped watching some reviewers for this very reason. But of course you can declutter and sort your fragrances as you wish and need to 😊 I share your taste in perfumes, I'm all about the sweet gourmands. So I hang on every word when you review perfumes 😅
During Covid I got crazy into trying new perfumes. I probably got 30 in a year, not ok for someone without a blog or channel. I tried to fill a void of not being able to go out. Now 2 years later I decluttered about 50% of my collection and I'm way happier without the clutter. Moved to a new home with about 20 fragrances, mists included. I still want to use up at least 3 before I can get something new.
You also can still like a perfume and still want to declutter it. Your disclaimers crack me up every time. Some ppl on the internet are so annoying. I love it when you put ppl in their place.
Zara has a new pistachio perfume called pistachio infusion (it has iris and tonka bean in it too) there are some other new ones on their site which weren’t there the other day when I placed my order . I know you’ve mentioned how you like iris a lot.
If you haven’t tried it already, you should try Eternity Intense! It doesn’t smell anything like the original. It’s an absolutely gorgeous scent that my 15 year old daughter wears almost everyday, I’ve already bought her 3 3.4oz replacement bottles after the original 1oz bottle that I started with and she quickly took over!
Lol girl I’ve been a sweet gourmand girlie for years and for some reason Perfect from Marc Jacobs has me in a choke hold! It’s so fresh and smells great on me, but if I would have smelled only the perfume in the bottle and not my skin I would have passed on it.
same! it’s like watermelon candy like to me for some reason. it’s a different kind of fresh, the yummy kind ❤ but def a gourmand super sweet girl here but love me some Perfect 😊
To me, Wanderlust isn’t anything like you described. Not jasmine heavy. Not anything like Alien. I do think L’interdit and Wonderlust are more mature and cooler weather frags. L’interdit takes a whisper of spray to scream sillage. My bottle still looks full too.
Right now my favorite perfume is Ellis Brooklyn Myth. It reminds me of my favorite perfume almost 20 years ago, which was called American Eagle Real for her (it has since been discontinued😢) Myth comes 90% close for me!
I can't imagine having 200, or even 150 perfumes. I have about 100 and already feel overwhelmed in trying to use them all 😅. But I too, keep buying 😂 and giving a lot of declutters to my sister since we don't have a website where we can sell used perfumes. Latest purchase is Khair pistachio 🥰
Same here, I'm trying to not get mediocre perfumes now and love what I want to add to my collection. I try to use them as much as possible but I work from home 90% of the time.
@@vivililly6887 literally same! I'm now being way more aware about the ones I buy. Although, I have a very hard time turning down a good deal. Now I'm just trying to focus on buying the ones I really, really, really want. I'm paying more attention to notes, reviews, etc. I also need to work on not buying the ones that are overly hyped, because I just don't seem to enjoy what 95% of the world seems to enjoy. I tend to gravitate towards the ones that are not popular whatsoever.
@@IhavenoideawhatthisevenisI find that when you have a large collection it is very easy to buy scents that smell similar, when this happens it is inevitable that you'll gravitate to one more which causes redundancy collections. Because when you think about what you like, is what you will always kind of like. That scent profile that you like isn't really going to change that much or so quickly. So nowadays I'm being more careful with what I add to my collection and with the help of Fragnatica making sure it's not similar to something I have already, and if it is, I will try my best to test it out and compare to what I have or buy a travel size, if I really want it. But even travel sizes can be expensive nowadays.

300 perfumes is definitely crazy 😂 I have about 40 and already feel it’s way too much and I need to de-clutter when I have about 5/6 that I really really love and use the rest don’t get used much at all xx
You should try the Shaghaf with other fragrances that need to more longevity and to make a bit sweeter. It was strong when I first got it, but it is great alone but even better as a layering scent. It's still strong, but now I get it and can't see not having it in my collection.
shaghaf oud doesn‘t smell similar to oud bouquet in my opinion. oud bouquet is sweeter, the vanilla note is more dominant and it gives a chocolate vibe to me. the oud note is more in the background. in shaghaf oud i smell the oud and rose the most and vanilla is more in the background. i don‘t get a chocolate vibe.☺️
I saw your Linterdit on the thumbnail! 😢 I just got Linterdit rouge well I like it…but it’s not Love!? So I’m waiting a bit. Which Linterdit is the most bubble gum tuberose?? I smell it a little in rouge but not as much as I was hoping. Which Linterdit has the most bubble gum? ( I won’t get Toy as I heard it doesn’t last though my way I have the Alhambra dupe and that’s bubble gum) I was just hoping there would be some spice in the Linterdit! 😢 I was also hoping the rouge would be an alien fusion dupe! It’s not but they’re cousins?) And I’m STILL on the hunt for an Alien Fusion it’s my fav winter perfume! But I love Mercari! That’s where I get my Alien Fusion that people didn’t like! Ha
The 2019 linterdit EDT is straight up bubblegum. It is now discontinued, but Lataffa fakhar (white bottle) is an exact dupe for 20 bucks and lasts for days
I didnt like shaghaf oud either. Cloying. A bit like kayali pink diamond. Tbh you get alot of fragrances like that really cheap in the arab world. Attars they call them. Too much for me personally and not that unique
As i said in the video. They are on my Mercari shop available to purchase. It’s the first link in my description 😊i would never throw brand new fragrances away😧

I totally want to see you reviewing more niche fragrances/ brands this year! I’m shocked you don’t have Bianco latte! ❤
Absolutely doing more research on items before I buy just to make sure all my new perfumes are loves and not just likes, so these videos help alot.

Have u ever regretted decluttering a perfume and repurchases it later? Just curious. 😊
You are looking so so pretty today❤
