Hello dear🙋♀️ I prefer this concept too, i always take my time and not in stress at the cashier specially when a lot of people in line. Rhank you so much and i wish you a nice day🍀🌸
That’s a great approach to food shopping-reducing waste while being mindful of what you actually need! Focusing on buying only what you'll use helps reduce waste and ensures that nothing goes to waste. Plus, it probably inspires more creativity in the kitchen with what you have! Thanks for sharing this mindful and sustainable way to approach grocery shopping. 🌱🛒✨
@@ZelinSwitzerland I really want to, it's a dream of mine! Even though I'm from Germany and Switzerland is not too far, it's definitely far now from Japan haha!
I don’t understand how do they know if you’ve scanned everything with the handheld scanner? They just trust everyone is scanning everything? This brought back memories of grocery shopping in Switzerland. I loved Coop and Migros. Wish we could have seen what the total was on your shopping trip!
Hello 🙋♀️ That's also what i thought before 😀 but you know they already caught some shoppers that they did not scan the products, they get caught at the check out😊 Thank you so much for watching. And Thank you also for your suggestion.I will include the total next time.
In the Uk at my local supermarket I can use an app on my phone to scan the items I buy and can pack like you as i go around. When finished I press the checkout button on the phone, scan phone to a self service till pay and go. Sometimes you can get a security check at till this is quite random. Prices seem very expensive compared to UK but then again average salaries are a lot higher to Switzerland.
Hello.Thank you for sharing your thought. You are right it's very expensive when it comes to food and other things. Saving for many people here is sometimes difficult. Thank you for being here.I wish you a good day🙋♀️
Kind of wish we'd have something like that here in America with all of our stuff so it will be quicker through the checkouts but it's starting to come I think with some things
Hi! I am from the US and when we grocery shop we put things in a basket and then have a cashier check us out and we pay there. I noticed you use a wand to keep track of your items. Do you pay through the wand? Do you have to show anyone your purchase to make sure you purchased everything in your bags? We do have some self check out lanes but usually someone is there to watch over a few lanes and then there is another person at the exit checking your receipt to make sure you paid for everything. Just curious. You did not show checking out with groceries. Thank you for your video. It is interesting to see grocery stores in other countries.
Hello 🙋♀️ Thank you for asking about hiw we pay. We pay at the check out without without someone checking us. But sometimes they caught people wo doesn't pay at all. I would love to shiw you next time how it works here.Thank you so much for watching.I wish you a good day😊
I li ok e how you can get a small loaf of bread. In the US, its almost always areal big loaf which I usually waste half. Freezer or fridge make it icky.
Yes we have mostly small portions of everything in the grocery. I've herad in US are mostly big portions, sounds interesting. Swiss people they prefer smaller sizes, It really just depend on the storage they have at home or any other reason. Thank you for watching.I wish you a nice day🍀
We were on vacation in Flims, Switzerland. There is a beautiful shopping center there. We also had to get groceries, but we were mindful of what we bought. However, the prices... unbelievable. Here in the Netherlands, a broccoli costs between €1 and €1.50, but in Switzerland, it was 5 CHF. A box of grapes here costs around €2.50, but in Flims, it was between 3.50 and 4.00 CHF. Another example: Pukka tea costs around €5 in the Netherlands, but in Flims, it was 8 CHF.Luckily, we had brought some things from the Netherlands with us.Even two pastries, a coffee, and a tea cost 22.50 CHF. In the Netherlands, that would be about €12.50. But thank you for sharing a video ❤
Hello🙋♀️ I hope you enjoyed your vacation in Flims. Even it's quite expensive😀 That's good you brought some stuffs with you. I also do that i brought my own tea, and water bottle with me.It's a pain if we buy a bottled water in a Restaurant it cost 5 or more.Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts.
Hi from Chelyabinsk, Russia! I'm surprised that many packed goods look similar with ours (just the design is a bit different). Also, I saw this chocolate from 03:51 in our store, but I never tried. I think, now I should.
Just love this checkout concept, would simplify grocery shopping so much! 😅 Thank you so much for sharing and take care❤

We have the same checkout concept in Montréal. Have yet to use it. Grocery shopping with a son is always wonderful but usually costs more 😊
