- With six races in the schedule, today was as big a day for the race organisers as it was for the teams in the Unicredit Youth Americas Cup. If the programme went ahead as planned, today would be the day that the six teams that would go through to the semi finals would be decided.
It was one hell of a day.
Grazie Thanks
I REALLY appreciate how you explain clearly the situations.

Excellent summary, thank you.
Great coverage! These are the boats that should be in the cup races.
Thanks Matt, another great coverage and comment!
Spot on. We’ll be out and about tomorrow flitting between CPVB and the big screens.
It's a great regatta, but they need to work on the reliability of the boats for next time. Too many INR's with system issues.
Or it could be the crews. Some had v little times on the boats, one reason being some had to share a boat.
As a Kiwi, our performance was patchy, some excellent starts and straightline speed but way to many unforced errors for a Group A team. It will be fascinating when Group A and B start to mix it up though, fleet racing with these boats is very entertaining and close.
fantastic video as usual, and very entertaining races yesterday. Pity for the French, who deserved a bit more luck.
Semi-final series will be great!
Although I do not understand, it seems the final is a single match race?
Given the reliability issues and the small time the crews had on this boats it seems like that leaves a ton of weight on luck, which would suck.
Are they actually run by youth or skippered by the same people running the 75s?
💙👍💙👏
What a scandal: the organization gave the French a boat plagued with problems. They could only race 3 races out of 8 and they showed they could easily reach the semi final. They couldn’t fight fairly against the other teams. This AC is a disaster IMHO
