I like those Oregon VersaCut bars. Husqvarna makes a great saw. The clones seem to be nice for the money but I won't bet my bottom dollar on them, 5-10 plus year down the road.
Yep nice bar... They are a saw suited to someone that can or willing to learn how to work on them... I find them fun to mess about with. Bucking some fresh 20" ash today and it cuts very well, very impressed with it...in terms of longevity the jury is still out but to date worth every cent of the 223 dollars paid.
MickMac 72 haha yeah later this year. I’m going to order a big bore for it oem carb and a 20” tsumura or (other Japanese bar brand) for it. Port it and have some fun with it
@@mickmac7264 for me the 660 is a tad to heavy for regular use. im liking the G440 or G372xp for their "normal" weight. 26 pound vs 19 pounds. doesnt sound like a lot but still. add a bar and fuel/oil and you'll be hitting the 30-35 pounds easy. (the 070 feels like 10000 pounds to be honest)
@@NathanVdV 660 is pretty heavy and every pound after 19 in weight makes a big difference, ok for cutting big stuff...might buy the G444 at some point, too many choices!!
@@kdog01100 using Husqvarna XP fully synthetic at 32:1 up to now but going 40:1 from now on. .. Lot of guys in US use the Amsoil sabre I believe it's good stuff
The huztl is going great..nice work
Yeah cutting well now...that's stuff is horrible to cut when dry... would go through ash or oak quicker...
Nice!
Looks good. Thanks for the info.
Hi...thanks, I see you have one too...not a bad saw at all!!
@@mickmac7264 The more I run it the more I like it. Am interested in the big bore kit you installed.
@@Scotcho64 agreed... nice saw all round and not too heavy. no probs with installation other than I had to drop the base gasket, too much squish
How do you find the 52mm over 50mm cylinder? Worth the upgrade? Thanks
Hi sorry missed your comment somehow... Yep def worth the upgrade, easy saw to work on and kit it cheap...
@@mickmac7264 all good cheers mate

372xp works good for still being rich
Hi Yep... Good runner.... little smokey until temp builds up but I feel safer with that extra oil.
