    I absolutely LOVE this! Going to paint this and give as gifts this Christmas. I love your videos and have painted along with a few of them.

      @@emilyseilhamerart I am! Your paintings are so beautiful and your videos are easy to follow along with (I have to pause them intermittently because I'm not as quick as you are lol).
      May I ask what brand of paint you use? Yours seems to have better coverage than mine. I use Liquitex Basic (all I can afford right now) and it's pretty good but I'd like a heavier bodied paint, that's affordable, if possible 😊

      @@jennkares76 I actually just use acrylic craft paint, this was Apple Barrel brand from Walmart. Very affordable and dries/layers quickly....and yes you definitely need to pause in between steps, you aren't alone! I intentionally sped and took out long pauses for social media purposes.

      @@emilyseilhamerart Oh, I have that paint as well and didn't like the performance. I wonder if it's my brushes and/or the canvases I'm using. It seems to be gloppy/sticky and doesn't glide onto the canvas like it appears it does for you 🤔

      @@jennkares76 hmmm I've never had it be gloppy or sticky unless it's a gloss version. Do you know if you were using gloss or matte? Matte works great, gloss is awful for painting from what I've seen

    I truly enjoyed watching you paint this and am now going to attempt it myself on a big stepping stone that's prepped and ready to go! You make it look so easy.

    Love your tutorials. I homeschool my four kiddos and my girls love art. I did your sunflowers tutorial with them recently and it went great! They are 8 and 10. 💜

    I love it. This is a bizarre question but what style of painting is this? Abstract? Tole? I love it so much. I can't wait to try it.

    • @emilyseilhamerart
      @emilyseilhamerart  Год назад +1

      That is a good question! It’s definitely more impressionistic I think…. Never thought about it. The detail is simplified so it’s more of an impression of the things portrayed

    What is your mop brush?

    • @emilyseilhamerart
      @emilyseilhamerart  10 месяцев назад

      It’s actually a wet n wild contour brush…you can find it at the dollar store and it blends the paint really well! I use it in place a real mop brushes that are in craft stores and are usually used for watercolor
