Out of all the Yu-boys, Yuto is still only one who doesn't have a pendulum monster dedicated to his deck, strangely enough. And before anyone says something, no, Overlord and Anthelion do not count. They're as much Phantom Knights support as Rainbow Neos is Crystal Beast support.
Does Yuto’s ace from the manga count? While he did use Dark Rebellion in the first chapter, it got phased out when he later got a Pendulum-XYZ hybrid, to go with the fact that Yugo and Yuri have a Pendulum-Synchro and Pendulum-Fusion ace respectively.

Odd Eyes Raging Dragon is still my favourite card in the entire game and I loved seeing it get talked about even a little here! Alongside Phantom Knights, one of my favourite archetypes!!
Fun fact, in the anime, Phantom Knights' Spear's effect is to inflict 100 effect damage to the opponent when they activate a trap(and ONLY a trap) that targets one monster on your field, and no, it doesn't negate it, while it's in the graveyard, it can banish itself to negate the activation of an opponent's trap and destroy that card, and then deal exactly 100 points of effect damage to the opponent. And Yuto used this to finish off Shingo, the only character in the whole series who this could possibly work on, after using Dark Rebellion's anime effect on Mobius the Mega Monarch twice to deal 3900 damage.
Petitioning for dedicated main deck pendulum monsters for PK! All the other 3 dimension dragons have both pendulum main deck and hybrid extra deck monsters. C'mon Konami
This archetype is one of the reasons as to why I think konami has missed the chance of giving monsters dual (or multiple in some cases) of typing. This archetype would both be warrior and zombie type monsters allowing for their use in some zombie decks.
It takes a while to get to the rank to form the high rank spiders right? So it’s hard to use, unless you rank up magic it to rank 8 with a spell with rank up launch
As a Phantom Knight player I am happy about this video. I am actually surprised you did not mention Burial from a Different Dimension, Sangan, Tour Guide, Needlebug Nest, Utopia Future, Utopia Draco Future, and you actually mentioned Evilswarm Ophion. Edit I forgot to mention my combo. I mentioned it to another person in your Subterror video. Tour Guide into Sangan. Use them for Churubini. Sangan searches out any hand trap that has less than 1500 attack. (This includes Ash Blossom, Ghost Ogre, Ghost Belle, Effect Veiler, D.D Crow, and even Maxx C but I know there are many more.) Use Churubini to send Graff to the graveyard. Graff then summons either Scarm or Cir depending on what you want. You will then use Churubini and your new monster to summon Rusty Bardiche. Scarm will get you another Tour Guide for your next turn. Cir will revive Churubini. Rusty will then send any Phantom Knight monster you might need to your graveyard to get a Fog Blade. If you send Ancient Cloak you can add Silent Boots to your hand. Special summon Silent Boots and then you have another Link 3 and Fog Blade. Basically here is the end boards off of these one Card Combos. Rusty Bardiche, Fog Blade, a Hand Trap, and a Tour Guide for your next turn. Rusty Bardiche, Two Fog Blades, a Hand Trap, and any Link 3 of your choice. If you have other cards in your hand this will in fact be amplified even further. As a result there are even more powerful plays you can make.

My current deck can bring out Rusty Bardiche, Two Fog Blades, Evilswarm Ophion (During my opponent’s turn), Utopic Draco Future, Appolusa, and search out any hand trap of my choice with 1500 or less attack in one turn. Meanwhile searching for another Tour Guide to continue my plays. I won about 35 duels in a row so far in only an hour. Most forfeited once I summoned Draco but those who didn’t realized they couldn’t win. They all lost the will to fight. My friends know this first hand. Yet they still try to beat me.

the thing about rebellion overlord is that it seems to have been intended for the odd-eyes side of yuya support rather than being pk support; in the odd-eyes deck rebellion overlord turns any 2 7's into OTK or a 4mat zeus which is a much easier ask than using the PK engine to get its scale effect live
With one of them being very unlikely to be used... Really wish Break sword Revival effect let You choose to increase or decrease a level, that would make curse javelin actually something You could use. But still, I really wish we could get a couple more of proper Xyz Phantom Knights.

One if my most favorite Archetypes in all of Yu-Gi-Oh! Solely for the reason that with the amount of removal there is nowadays, these things just won’t die! Generic Dinos: **shooting bullets into Break Sword** Why won’t you die?! Break Sword and all the Phantom Knights: Because beneath this armor, there is an idea Mr. Tyranno. And ideas are *bullet proof*. **proceeds to strangle the dino** Also, something you forgot to mention is that you can stack Dragon Overlord on top of itself to give itself it multi attack effect since all it needs is a rank 7 and it doesn’t say other than itself.
They're literally the reason I bought one of the pre-built decks on that old mobile game, Duel Generations. Yuto was one of the gateway bosses, meaning it was best-of-three rather than a single duel, and my painfully cobbled together mishmash deck just could not compete. No matter what I did, Fog Blade or Wing or Sword would bring his monsters right back, and Dark Rebellion took out anything that survived Break Sword or the traps. Then I discovered (much, much later) the Legendary Hero Decks set. Between the pummelings at the hands of Yuto and the consistency of the PK deck in that set, Phantom Knights have been my favourite ever since, not to mention why I prefer GY strategies. P.S. Sorry for that infodump.
I suppose Phantom Knight's Extra Deck being propped up by most of the Xyz Dragon line-up is to be expected when their in-anime owner died early on. Imagine Yuto evolving alongside Yuya so that PKs aren't mostly tied down to Xyz. Maybe a Tuner with Xiangke Magician's Pendulum effect on Summon. Or a Dark Rebellion/PK that seems more Board control focused than trying to swing for game.

Phantom Knights and Raidraptors have stuck with me for the same reasson, the anime and the characters that used them. DRXYZ Dragon especially, because of his ridiculous summon chant: Cloaked in shadows and relentless in his objektive, I call upon the most dangerous of dragons. Such an epic chant.

the only thing that i don't like about rank up magic launch is the condition to activate it, which is that the xyz monster needs 0 materials. this is good for getting dark requiem, but when trying to get ophion, you would have to use some other effects to help get a rank 3 dark monster to 0 materials, or use a rank 3 that doesn't have a once per turn clause on the effect that detaches xyz material, or uses both materials at once (you could also hope and pray that you can negate enough o the opponent's plays to keep the xyz monster out alive for another turn, but that isn't too likely)
Hope konami would make phantom knights get new support card and new phantom knight xyz monsters and it be cool if they make a card can bring phantom knights cards return from bannish zone
Tomb shield doesn't work on torrential or imperm, it doesn't chain to activated cards. It more of a floodgate negater then anything else.its only good in a control varrient of the deck
Actually, it does! While it can only be used on your own turn, as a trap card, it still maintains the ability to be activated like one, even in the grave. This makes it very helpful for dealing with the mentioned cards so you can push through plays on your own turn. And while it's not relevant to today's environment, Breakthrough Skill was used in a similar way.
Did you know Requiem? Is a Catholic Mass perform to honor the dead so like his monsters every time he xyz summons. Requiem he's honoring the dead of his monsters
You can actually summon raging dragon quite easily with the astral magic rank-up, which is searchable by zexal construction WHICH IS SEARCHABLE by dragonic halberd (which can be summoned by ranking up a dark rebellion)
that's absolute garbage of an opinion and possible misinformation for people who have, say faced this archetype recently for example and want to learn more about it. PK even pure are so flexible you will NEVER find yourself running out of plays. If you are, then you're not building properly. Also not everyone plays your competitive meta brick wall with 10 negates, 3 bounces and 3 ash. Learn to appreciate archetypes a bit more. Sometimes people just want a fun and casual experience with their favorite deck/archetype.

one way to use raging in PK is by using Astral Force with one of your rank 5 dragons

I think a reason Ancient Cloak has that "The Phantom Knights" restriction is so that it can't make Silent Boots redundant.
The Duel Links Yuto theme was a Phantastic choice.

PK was the first proper deck I built so it's interesting finding new card options to use, like Evilswarm Ophion
That is also true for me phantom knights is the first deck I've ever made and that's why it will always be one of my favorites I love them so much

i play mostly pure. the adventure package and the 2 BA cards i run out and swap for hand traps and protection
