What killed her ? How did she die. Was she sick. Many questions to be cleared. Why was she buried in a hurry, just after a week or so. That is very unusual in Igbo land. Her Father has to come out clearly. Her death and quick burial is very suspicious.

In Igboland, you don’t keep young people for long. They are buried almost immediately except there are strong reasons. In the olden days, it was considered a sacrilege for young people to die before their parents. Infact the parents are not allowed to be part of the funeral rites. It is to be planned and conducted by close relatives. But ofcourse times have changed and people now choose what works best for them. It is devastating.

I am surprised that Summer Aku came on air to show us the funeral of a 14 year old girl without waiting to investigate exactly what happened to the girl who just returned from abroad 2 weeks before her death. I am not impressed with the information that the reason of her death is undisclosed. Unfortunately to me, show casing the father before and during the funeral is more important than digging dip to unravel the cause of the death of the young teenager. That is very unsatisfactory for a journalist/blogger of your caliber.

The father of the child posted the funeral online all by himself on his own platform and I simply shared what her father shared.. remember that.
