AKUBA FUNK are a funk band from Tainan City (台南) in southern Taiwan. The band has, in the past, sometimes also been billed as ALUBA FUNK
"Shut Up!" is an original written by band leader AXEL SCHUNN. It's the band's NEWEST song, performed here in public for the first time!
The Tainan MAYJAM Music Festival (aka 台南五月音樂季 in Mandarin) is a two-day music festival held annually on the first weekend in May in the beautiful countryside just outside of Tainan City in southern Taiwan.
The music festival features mainly smaller indie bands and musical groups from Taiwan.
Already in its 23rd iteration, 28 bands from all over the island performed there live this year (2024).
