    Sir what is the answer of DIBAL H question in jee main 2017? it has two possibilities

    • @yokesharwani562
      @yokesharwani562 7 лет назад

      Any Time Padhai Academy Sir Dibal H reduces COOH group also

    • @TwaritWaikar
      @TwaritWaikar 7 лет назад +1

      But it's not given in limited quantities also(like no mentions of amount of equivalents of DIBAL-H)

    • @yokesharwani562
      @yokesharwani562 7 лет назад

      Twarit Waikar Thats exactly my doubt

    • @TwaritWaikar
      @TwaritWaikar 7 лет назад +1

      So I assume this question can be challenged?

    • @TwaritWaikar
      @TwaritWaikar 7 лет назад +1

      I did some research and found that it will stop the reduction at aldehyde if the temperature is lesser than -70 degrees celsius. So basically the question has:
      1. Lack of assertion of amount of reactants
      2. Ambiguous details of temperature where the choice of temperature is critical
      3. A poorly framed context.

    Everything was good but Sir, the soubilty of SODIUM IODIDE is more than Lithium iodide since it has more ionic character. (Li.I as per fajans rule posses Covalent character so it is comparatively less soluble in polar solvent like water)

    Sir i have a doubt in inorganic chemistry. WHY BeO has higher melting point than NaCl? Acc. to fajan's rules NaCl should be more ionic and have high melting point. But this is opposite. Please reply soon.

    • @14kadarshraj3
      @14kadarshraj3 6 лет назад

      acc to fajan if you considered plarizibility oxygen is more electronegative and small size so it will not share it electron as compare to chlorine have more size oo cl will shitft towards na more

    • @14kadarshraj3
      @14kadarshraj3 6 лет назад

    Sir u said that LiI has more solubility than NaI bt I think since both the cations have similar charge and size of Li ions is smaller so acc..to Fajan's rule LiI shoud be more covalent in nature hance it should be less soluble than NaI...plz do correct if i am wrong.
