    Had to cancel the round on this course that I had booked for today... the music on Hole 3 perfectly matched my unspeakable sadness. Great to live vicariously through your vid though!! 😆

    Hey hey! Greetings from across the pacific! Nice beautiful course there. Just at heart attack prices haha. Just noticed your out to in swing, had the same.issue back then. What helped me was pulling my right foot back abit to get some space and practiced the "loop drill" from larry cheung or milo lines etc. It helped somewhat and wanted to share since i could notice you do a "reverse loop" that starts in then loops out when you rotate. Hth. You guys dont have golf offseason in Socal right? Excited to keep watching your progress :) cheers!

      @andy_golfs  Год назад +1

      Haha! Totally in agreement about heart attack prices. Yes! I definitely struggle with the out to in swing. It's been a constant struggle. Thank you for your tip! I will definitely try that in my future driving range sessions. And that is correct, no offseason in southern California! We're kind of spoiled to be able to golf all year round haha. Thanks for the support!

    When you putted off the green on the third 🤣; We've all been there mate! As always, great video. What's your take on the course, is it worth the $400+?

      Great to hear from you again bro! To answer your question, here is my reply in video form: ruclips.net/video/hvTqIIZFiV0/видео.html
      Hahah. Yeah, I don't think I would pay that much out of pocket to play there. It's certainly a beautiful course, but that's just way too much for me haha. You can play 4x on a really nice course for that amount! I'm just grateful I had the chance to play there haha.

      @@andy_golfs Shows how much I've been out of it! I even watched that video 😆It's crazy to think that there are rounds that cost $415 and upwards - that's absolutely a lot of money; guess it makes the free round way more worth it!

      @andy_golfs  Год назад

      @@soliddoublebogeys Right? It is located in one of the wealthiest parts of Southern California, so it's to be expected. But yeah, pretty happy to have played there for free, haha.

    You have to remember you are playing some pretty tough courses man so yeah 103 is not too bad for someone starting out. But you have a lot of potential just need a few adjustments and things will start to get better. You certainly have the right attitude and some power too which are both good assets. I always enjoy your videos and commentary even when things don't go all that well. I mean at least you are getting to play some real nice courses so there is that.
    You asked for some tips....well you know me and of course I have a tip for you brother...well a couple really. The first is to keep your right elbow tucked into your side more. Really exaggerate it at first and take some real short practice swings then work your way up to a full swing. Keep it tucked into your side on your backswing and let you wrists hinge naturally then keep it tucked in on the downswing too. You might be amazed at the results...it's hard to come over the top with your elbow tucked in. It will feel real weird at first - but give it a few tries before you give up on it. It's a well known fix for coming over the top. Give it a shot and see if it works for you then take it to the course. On that note the second tip is to only have one swing thought when you are playing a round - whatever it might be. A lot of times we have too many things we are working on in our heads so it's hard for the brain to sort it all out and it makes it worse instead of better. Your brain can only focus on one thing at a time, so let everything else go on auto pilot and just focus on keeping your elbow tucked. There are a ton of videos about tucking the right elbow and some drills to help you practice.
    Another real good one that I have used came from Mr Short Game. He has a lot of "on course" type tips you can try. This one is real good and I tried it myself a few times. I don't know how to paste a link in a comment and not sure if you even can, but here it is. I would suggest this one too. It is really good for short game contact.
    ruclips.net/video/0j-ZDL44zj8/видео.html
    He also has one on the right elbow tuck as well: ruclips.net/video/aqSV96uCczs/видео.html
    Here's one more about tucking the right elbow from Tom Saguto who teaches the Stack-and-Tilt swing method which I converted too this summer. It's a big change so I am not suggesting that for you, but he did a video on tucking the right elbow which is a good one:

    Good luck brother and keep the videos coming.

      Loving those two tips! I incorporated that elbow tuck in a few range sessions and I see a noticeable improvement in consistency! That 2nd tip regarding swing thought is a big one. I remember my uncle, who is a scratch golfer, would tell me to step back from the ball, find your target line, visualize your shot. Then once you step to the ball, you are in the "swing box"; you are no longer thinking about anything, only the target. Of course for me personally, some times that's easier said than done when I'm on the course. It's good to hear that tip again and reinforces in me how I need to keep that going consistently. Thanks for the tips and the video recommendations. Always appreciate it!
