This was an uncomfortable video to watch, but I appreciate it. I kept thinking back to a girlfriend I had when I was 18-20, who, sadly, died at age 18 of a cardiac arrythmia while sick with the flu. She had been struggling with bulimia for six years by that point, exercised all the time, and engaged in other sorts of compensatory behaviors, not just with food but in the social domain of her life. I used to ask myself if I could have done more to help her. I know I tried, however. It was complicated, and I don't know whether I was lucky or unlucky that we'd split up six months earlier, but her loss was very hard for me to deal with on so many different levels. This video helped me better understand her now, three decades later. Thank you.
