    The abandoned Daugavgrīvas fortress on the river bank in Riga. Built by the Swedes when they had an empire. The Russians took it and kept it for 200 years until finally it became Latvian. Very interesting Baltic history. We explore the abandoned ruins of this Riga fortress. At least we thought it was abandoned until a little surprise visit from the local caretakers at the end. After a few days in Riga we pack up and ride back to Iecava.

    I don't know if it still takes place but a few years back me and my father helped organize a festival in this fortress called Festivāls Komēta. Cool to see foreigners explore the fortress.

    Dutch Design is a term used to denote an informal artistic school of design in the Netherlands, particularly product design. More specifically, the term refers to the design esthetic common to designers in the Netherlands.[1]

    Pedro what did the lady say? Did you enter private property or what?

    • @uamee
      @uamee 2 года назад +7

      The lady asked if they were lost. Then told them to "put it away" (camera?) while finding the situation amusing. You're not really supposed to be at the fortress without a tour guide as it can be dangerous.

    It is better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission. The lady was more of a busybody. There is archaeologic activity going on. Keeping people out for the sake of study is only an after thought. I could bet that the study of the site is moving at a snails pace and the government would have loved an update by anyone, even you. Someone to provide actual footage of what kind of work is being done.
    Accidentally getting Mariska in a shot while she is getting dressed is sort of a Dick move bro. Although Tantalizing to most of us, because she is so beautiful. It's a bit of hard no in most circles. That and she still made you the pancakes. Come on, she needs better treatment. Still all and all enjoyed the video.

      By the way that place is available for visits. It's cosidered pretty rude to trespass a museum ooutside working hours

    • @bruceleealmighty
      @bruceleealmighty 2 года назад +1

      @@vilks_jan So, the working hours are what? 2 hours a day? If it is a museum and visits are arranged then wouldn't the lady be suggesting thus? If visits are possible she seemed to have only one intent. Do anything to keep from doing work, such as 'visiting'. If it's such a museum where were the posted days hours?
