An OHV hemi sand rail with brakes on one rear wheel only and the hand lever was hard to get at. So much for tech inspection . But otherwise an awesome event , fantastic people always willing to help a fellow racer.
On Saturday there was a block of time where they didn't race for at least an hour or more. Heard rumors someone lost brakes and went on the beach where people were, but the beach was closed all the way down to the wooden rollercoaster. Do you know anything about that?
@@whadafunk hope everyone was OK. I hope it comes back. There are rumors that it's shutting down because it's so expensive. That 2022 hurricaine hurt them and they honored the tickets this year. I hope they stick around, even if its every other year.

Oh really? That makes sense. I was at the starting line so I couldn’t see but they said they were building the sand barriers higher that’s all I heard

i was a racer. apparently his clutch wouldn’t release he went through the fence narrowly missing the ppl trying to watch for free
