My top 20 USA full scholarships/assistantships universities for graduate studies part 1

- I always tell students that if they apply to the right schools and submit competitive applications, they are likely going to get a full scholarship. So the next question I get is, what are the right schools? In this video, I am going to recommend my top 20 US schools for master’s and PhD studies. These schools are based on several factors which includes:
1. knowing people who have attended those schools and were given full assistantships (and their distribution)
2. low admission and funding requirements such as GRE or English proficiency test waived for some programs
3. Low cost of attendance
4. my own personal experiences with some of these schools
5. my research into these schools
6. my visa interview coaching experiences.
If I were to apply to schools in the US for my graduate studies, and I have not taken the GRE, these are the 20 schools I would consider.

Here are the 20 schools I consider the right schools for your graduate studies. Please, make sure you check their requirements and funding opportunities for your program of interest before you submit an application.

For Ph.D in Economics, is their GRE optional?
I can't afford the GRE as of the moment, I have prepared my SOP and Resume. Do you advise I wait till I write the GRE before applying. My GPA is 3.63/4.0

I used several links to make the video and that’s why I didn’t put the links in the description. When you type the names into Google and add admissions or scholarships, you will see everything you are looking for.
What about political science MA ?
The first school has that and gives funding to students. For the others, you should check.

Please do these schools evaluate transcript
South Dakota State University (and maybe North Dakota State University) requires a transcript evaluation.
The remaining 10 schools in my next video don't require it.

You can book an appointment after you have started the ds-160 form before your I-20.

Why are you against schools with no application fees?
Because of 2 reasons:
- They usually don’t have a good funding
- Too many people apply to such schools so more competition

You should check the recommended schools for your program of interest

The first thing is to evaluate your transcript. And then check out the schools I suggested. You may need to send emails to professors as well. Check my study abroad playlist for all the videos you need.

Is it okay to state in your personal statement that you didn't take the GMAT because of financial issues?
You don't have to state that. If the school doesn't require it, you shouldn't explain why you don't have it. Don't even ask for funding. You only indicate you want funding in the application itself. Check my video on how to craft the perfect personal statement.

Can a phd student who runs a non profit platform where I did an internship recommend me for my applications??
If they have a corporate email, I believe that works. Make sure you have academic recommenders as well.
Please ShaiGuides, for these universities, to get a fully funded, we have to apply first for a course then to apply for scholarships I mean separately or I apply for a master for exemple we will have automatically the scholarship or we need to write a letter ??
In the graduate application, the school will ask you if you want to be considered for assistantships. It's not a separate application. However, when it comes to certain scholarships, you can only apply for it after you have received an admission.
