Is level 2 flametongue that you get at 18 more damage than level 4 rockbiter you get at 24? Also I’m thinking for world content/PvP rocking 1h with shield and going the tanking rune might be pretty good. Since ES will no longer share a cooldown with other shocks, you can rotate between ES, FS, and Molten Blast in a PvP scenario for some solid damage all whilst being tanky with a shield. Shield rune also got that buff datamined for 8% mana returned on block. I think this is what I’ll probably do until they raise the level cap and then will switch to pure enhance or ele.

Flame Shock + Lava Burst opener in PvP looks absolutely bonkers to be honest (together with Overload rune, 33% chance of extra Lava Burst). Perhaps even purge some absorb shield first if applicable. I would also get Way of the Earth in pvp I think, for extra tankyness.
i dont think healing rain will be a major pick, chain heal in classic was broken as foook, and overload has a 1/3 chance to cast a free chain heal... add the T2.5 where it makes chain heal even faster to cast and you will be a chain healing machine gun
I don't see why not. Just that the range is shorter. Down to melee range. Tauren melee range is longer than other races. Male Tauren longer than female Tauren. So I'm gonna roll Male Tauren shaman for larger hit box and largest possible melee range!
a classic wow elemental shaman with overload doing double chain lightning overload proc crits with ele mastery AND have mana sustain with shamanistic rage and water shield are you kidding me bro. i was an under geared ele shaman in classic wow deleting gear warriors and paladins SOD elemental shaman is going to be crazy.
why not? you know how big hit % is for dps, right? it'll add alot more damage than 5% crit from enhance and 1 pt flurry. idk if it'll do more than the ele talents they add alot of dps@@beanodonnell

well, I think you'd just swap your imbue before you rage if you need to.

This is actually better for shaman and druids. since you can use FT AND get the rune of ferocity if you have a feral druid in your party. win-win.
Pretty sure WF has an ICD. I think you go WF/FT so we aren’t wasting WF procs on offhand hits
Each weapon will have its on icd
In classic or vanilla there is no ICD on WF you can proc it as often as it likes, unless they changed it

unfortunately no water shield as that is the same piece of gear as lavaburst.
enhance tree is kinda doo doo early levels, i'd rather go ele for 1 sec off shocks and clearcasting, and shock damage, or resto for 3% hit
