I do not agree with the core principles of this research (if one can call it this). The methods that are used are not logical. 1) Relying on H2H is intentionally disregarding the whole body of work and concentrating on the stat that is preferential for getting a desired result. Nadal in this scenario is awarded for losing earlier to the lesser players and not making it to the showdown with Federer early (before 2008) in HC Slams. The same situation with not making far enough to meet Djokovic in HC Slams more frequently after 2014. The same argument goes against concentrating on three most common opponents: why limit it to three? Because it gives the desired result? IMO in such researches the results against the whole field shall be analyzed. 2) Getting brownie points for competing less due to injuries is a perverse logic. Nadal's style, which gave him his success is the reason for these injuries. Being fit is a part of being good. Very significant part. So I consider him competing in less slams a main reason why he is 3rd best in this trio.

Nadal defeated a prime Roger Federer in 2008 and took prime Roger Federer to a 5 setter in 2007 and a God level federer to a 4 setter in 2006. On the other hand, Novak Djokovic struggled to beat 35-38 year old Roger Federer (2015-2019) Prime Rafa defeated the greatest 1 and 2 (federer and Novak) on their favourite Hard court players in their prime. AO 2009, AO 2012 vs Roger and US 2010 and 2013 vs Novak. Where as Roger and Novak couldn’t beat Prime Rafa at Roland Garros. Nadal missed 16slams due to injuries and still won 22slams means that without all that he would have won atleast a 10 more slams. And when Nadal was in the draw there were times when he had to retire or loose the match because he was injured. USO 2018, AO 2018, RG 2021, Wimbledon 2022, RG 2016, AO 2010, AO 2014. Best on clay for sure, but that's about it.
Appreciate your opinion
Best on clay has 8 non clay court slams and a positive h2h against Prime Novak on his favourite hard court surface 2-1 at US open. Time for you to get new brain cells.
All 3 have done so much for the game of tennis. It’s bizarre that It’s over.
The Golden age of tennis!
Nadal is easily the 3rd in the race, for me there is no debate but if someone argues for fed, I kinda understand, but Rafa? Not a chance
Appreciate your thoughts 💭
We are no longer talking about records and statistics in sports but subjective opinions to determine the goat 😂😂😂
Rafa wasn’t able to win Paris masters,Miami masters,ATP finals and does not even belong to top five in the world no.1 records ,but some folks thinks he is the greatest😂😅😅
It’s alright we all have our favorite players but trying hard to make our favorite the best is kind of stupid and lack of objective sense of judgement.
Djokovic is the goat of tennis and it doesn’t matter how anyone feels about it.
Rafa is better than Djokovic in head to head matches in Grand Slam matches and Grand Slam finals. Rafa is the GOAT 🐐 Djokovic is the Joker 🃏. The numbers are not stupid and do not lie. It’s not even a debate, it is a fact! Good try though.
@ your selective records makes you look even more uninformed and that can only deceive your likes .
Djokovic is more than 12 major titles ahead of Rafa and x 2 weeks at top 1, it's Djokovic that completed tennis.
You can continue to live in your illusion,I wish you well.
His name is Rafael not rafiel
"Rafael, not Rafiel" - Got it! I'll be sure to get it right from now on.
@@TennisTenacity-cq7dg good video though 🤝
Rah fah- l that's the pronunciation in spanish😊@@TennisTenacity-cq7dg
The GOAT who cannot even win a single ATP world tour final.
Don’t knock da GOAT 🐐 Naaaaaay
never won in paris eader. just one indoors in whole carrier, home in ihe madrid CC.
This video isnt for you. Just dont read ok
Nadal defeated a prime Roger Federer in 2008 and took prime Roger Federer to a 5 setter in 2007 and a God level federer to a 4 setter in 2006. On the other hand, Novak Djokovic struggled to beat 35-38 year old Roger Federer (2015-2019)
Prime Rafa defeated the greatest 1 and 2 (federer and Novak) on their favourite
Hard court players in their prime.
If not for those injuries Rafa’s tally of slams would have crossed 30 easily.
Go Rafa!!
Sampras
Dig Sampras
I mean this is just cope.
Rafa is not the GOAT and never will be. Facts and stats do not lie.
It’s a great debate! There would be no Novak without Rafa and Fed. Rafa has a better record over Djokovic in matches that matter. He is the GOAT
@@TennisTenacity-cq7dgLol I've never seen this level of delusion! Hey if that makes you feel happy keep on going little buddy as long as you're happy that's all that matters 😂
@@takodanobaba Yes this thing is making him happy. @tennistenacity, Alway keep happy and stay in your delusional world. 🤣
This is sad! Sad to see Nadal fans trying to justify their guy being the GOAT! This looks like the saltiest video lmao 🤣
It’s a sad n salty day my friend. Maybe a good cry will do you good! 😭
@@TennisTenacity-cq7dg Why? As a Djokovic fan I'm by far the happiest, no one has enjoyed more success than us! My guy keeps on winning, your guy, not so much and that's all that really matter!
@takodanobaba Well said, Nadal fans are trying their best to make Nadal GOAT but unfortunaly he doesnt own any record.
@@takodanobabadude winning and stats don’t matter just enjoy watching Rafa whip exciting forehands down the line or whatever insane shots he can come up with. He has a statue outside the main court of a grand slam that can’t be said and never will be said for a tennis player who throws his racquet every time things don’t go his way.
@@TrevorFeatherweathers alright bro cool! Enjoy the statue, I'll enjoy more grand slams and wins!
Sorry Nadal isn't a goat material... He isn't a complete player either....... To be goat you have to master all the surfaces...but he never did..... We all know who is the GOAT its not a conversation anymore
Nooooooo 😱 say is isn’t soooooo. Appreciate your opinion and thanks for watching!
22 slams missed or retired from due to injuries yet STILL wins 22 slams?!? Rafa would have 30+ by now he’s the GOAT by a country mile, a god walking amongst man. Djokovic is a brilliant player no argument but he’s not as talented as Rafa. For a player known for baseline play look at the stats for serve and volley and net play wins…. Rafa is incredible and has way better stats than Djokovic at the net, he’s superhuman.
bs video, and the classless comment from Nadal at the end sums it up😂😂😂
Maybe Nadal should stick to tennis and leave the comments to the fans!
@@TennisTenacity-cq7dg Yep, he's so stupid that he can't even realize how his words sound. He should stick to hitting tennis ball, it's less complicated.
