I'm not going to buy this gun. I already have the TP9SFx and the TP9SF Elite. There is nothing this gun will do that either or both of those won't do. So there is simply no need for this gun. Ah hell, who am I kidding. I'm definitely getting this gun.
I just picked this gun up from my FFL today. Build quality is excellent. The Salient barrel is awesome. The trigger take up is short and clean with a crisp break. I'm guessing around 3.5-4 lbs. The trigger reset is quick and immediate, very tactile and audible. Like Graham said the trigger shoe is black and made of plastic and the trigger safety is red and made of aluminium. It's hard to tell in the video but the aluminium trigger safety is wide and flat and is milled with multiple fine lines. This seems to provide a good tactile sensation on your finger tip when pressing the trigger. Besides the barrel and trigger Salient also supplies the magazine well and fiber optic sights. Its also an excellent value with all the additional Salient parts included in the price.
Are you planning on reviewing this gun? I'd like to know if the Salient parts fix some of the reliability issues you had shooting the TP9SFT suppressed.

The video from Canik says the trigger is from them, not SAI. I have seen multiple videos saying it is an SAI product, so not sure which is true. I like the gun, just wish they would have provided an imperial threaded barrel.
I own this model, sfx, elite, and sf. All of em had the rear sight slightly off to the left. I believe they fixed the stiff rsa but if you have issues just shoot 124g NATO to break it in. Great shooters. Lots of features for the price. They also have plenty of after market support. All canik needs to do with the series is release a compact model to compete with the cz p10c. Not glock cause they kill glock out of the box.
As said earlier, you forgot about the custom holster. Maybe hit that during the range tests? I like all those features. I would rather the rear sight stay on, if adding an optic. Incase of failure. I like how Canik is inlaying black paint into their logo too. It is pretty...🤤
