Why does tour engine lower to usefulness, but mine only lowers to where the upper front bolt is inaccessible? This is the best instructional, because i need the tool and bolt size breakdown. Thank you so much! Lunch on me!
The bolts arent the issue, it's the small impeller shaft in the middle of the waterpump that doesnt clear the engine's body. I ended up lowering the car, using a piece of wood and a prybar to move the engine juuuust enough to shimmy out and swap in the new pump.

Did hou remove thr pump without having to drop the engine ?
You could get a crow bar and put pressure on the mount to shift enough space to slide the water pump
