It’s not a scam. I’ve been in insurance for the last 8 years and these are all very reputable companies. It’s a shame to call these companies a scam, they help families during the hardest times of their lives. We should be extremely grateful for them and give them the respect they deserve.

Pretty much. It’s that stay broke attitude I tell ya. I saw an opportunity to make my own money and I took it. My great Unc always said “you’ll never make any money working for another man” and while I’ll always have an up line until I’m an rvp, at least I’m working towards building a business of my own.
Things that are not scams don't tend to have a large number of people claiming it is one, and they don't have to keep saying they are not on. If one person thinks you're an ass, they are probably an ass. If everyone thinks you are an ass, you are most likely an ass.
I agree, which is why I’m very choosy who I do business with. These are the people who stray away from making grown up decisions and leave their family destitute upon their death. These are also the ones who will be a burden on their family because they didn’t properly plan for long term care or retirement. The comical thing is that most of them have low wage jobs they proudly go to but criticize those who are actually trying to show them how to become financially independent. SMH
The people saying its a scam are the same ones probably working for a company regualr 9 -5 giving up a lot of hours and only getting little. Remember who owns the company company hires managers managers hire employees and employees work for thier time. Think about it. And those who have tried this and say is a scam you probably didnt work that hard. It takes hard work. Thats why not a lot of people do it. Entrepreneurship isnt for everyone.
I'm curious, what makes you think sitting behind a desk dialing for 10+ hours and getting a commission rate that's little to none has anything to do with entrepreneurship? Most people get suckered in by insurance agents saying "this is not a job it's your business" because they have a commission rate lol and a shitty one at that

Life insurance can be a pretty lucrative industry. There is an abundant amount of ways to make money. From just dialing and writing a policy, recruiting, mentoring a team. Unfortunately because of the different ways agents/team leaders are able to make an income they will use the little to non knowledge you have on the industry against you. That's not saying the industry is a scam but the person you work for/with is.
If you can do all that with a small team, why do you need 9 more guys 😂

Bro stop tryna destroy reputable insurance companies. Hear me out based on experience. I got recruited at WFG, and my sister got recruited as well. They scammed us saying it’s free then proceeded to discuss a course fee ($200+ just for the course and plus $60+ every examination. There were 4 in total and if u fail 3 times each then you pay $60 again.) Very shady and I’m glad I ignored/didn’t do the course at all, but I’m very upset that I paid (just course fee) for it and wasted my money on that shit (yeah very stupid of me.)
My mom has had a terrible experience with WFG as well. They convinced her to open up a TFSA & RRSP, but my mom’s money didn’t make anything and she was paying a lot monthly and never got anything in return when she wanted to transfer to a different insurance company. They didn’t even accommodate her. Not even the person whom she opened the account to. My mom would tell her now insurance company to use her as an example whenever WFG is brought up.
My mom has used PRIMERICA since 2018/2019 and now 2023 I’ve actually seen her money progress. I decided to open up my own TFSA & RRSP & insurance to the same insurance company quite recently this May 2023 and I can’t wait to see the progress of my investments. I also found out that during the 9/11 incident, Primerica was one of the only or the only insurance company to pay out life insurance of the victims to their family with or without the body. I think that’s a steal. At a young age, my insurance is $550k for 35 years and I’m only paying less than $50 monthly. My mom’s friend, the person who works at Primerica and helped me open up my investments/savings account is really kind and cares about her client. When I opened my life insurance from her, I begged her to make it a million and that I’m willing to pay $100 monthly, but she told me that paying big bucks would be beneficial for her but bad for me. As it would hurt my budget since I make close to minimum and I need to keep money on the side in case of an emergency. That’s what she told me. She’s really knowledgeable in what she does.
What do you guys think? I’d be thrilled to know your thoughts about these 2 insurance companies and my thought as the same time. I’m open to comments, positive or negative or questions.
Hey! I’m in the middle of getting my license in Canada and I think I have about 2 sessions left, the thing is. I’m still a bit skeptical as I already paid for the application fee (150 CAD) and now they’re just showing me all these sessions to get ready for the exam. Although I’m aware that the license for an insurance agent is legit. I’m still raising questions in the aspect of if they’re trying to sell me something or not…

Feels good to stretch my mind again. “Trying to sell you something” I mean, in my opinion a good sells man knows that his product is good. We should know about how it works and the benefits of it first hand. Eventually I will be buying a life insurance for me and my wife, I’ll set money into an annuity, so on and so forth. Besides. Once you’re licensed you will be your own client anyway.

Its a scam this is payment for recruitment on top of payment monthly for being licensed. Which is not a license rather a rep fee meaning if you end up in court selling a bad policy you and no the company can end up paying fines people were jail for this in FL.
