My dad was about to die around then, and I had just been dumped by my first girlfriend. This was different from everything I was experiencing and it made me happy. I love her strange voice, the harp is an amazing weapon of choice, and the lyrics are bizarre and catchy. It truly is a timeless song for me.
You still listen to trash like metal? No offense, I can't stand it anymore. So angry, so dark, I can't abide by music that spreads darkness when music was always here to spread light.

I first heard this while traveling alone in iceland. A beautiful girl who worked in a cafe would play it, and compared to everything else in her repeating playlist it seemed like this song was on repeat, it so stood out against the bland of all the other music. I'll always think of her bright golden hair flowing around the cafe and the lava rocks and moss and that heavy grey icelandic sky when i hear this.
