This VERY talented man is 80+ years old, and can STILL hit those notes without any problem!!! His voice never quakes or falters, always there. What a singer. Frankie, you're sensational!!!
I WANT TO SEE SOME OF THE ROCKERS FROM THE 60-70-80S TRY THIS WHEN THEY ARE 81 HE WILL BE 82 MAY,3,2015.SIMPLY A LIVING LEGAND! UNDISPUTIBLE,UNDENIABLE!
Mortimer no lip sync.auto tune, perhaps,no lip sync.he made a mistake in the words of1 song.how can you lip sync and make a vocal mistake?get real Mortimer, you are jealous because your junk no longer works.were you in Trading Places> do you have a brother named Randolph Duke?
Im black american grew up in the late 60 and 70 i remember hearing all of Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons my entire life all those songs are part of the history of my up bringing....A true American musical legend if there ever was one..every song a timeless classic..every time i hear one of their songs i remember a happy part of my childhood and life and I smile.....thank you guys for the wonderful memories.
Frankie is not lip syncing here. At one point in "Grease" he slips up and starts a wrong phrase and corrects himself. He wouldn't lip sync a mistake. Not even a tiny one. Frankie is one of our greatest living entertainers.
I don’t feel like he is either cause Can’t Take My Eyes Off You does sound slightly different to the recording like the way he’s singing it sounds different so I believe this is live
Take a real good look at that crowd, my people. I'm 25. There are kids in there 10yrs & more younger than me, rocking out to these songs as if they just came out yesterday. This is what great music should do. It must've made Frankie feel so good to see the audience's collective reaction.
I had the honor of being Frankie's bodyguard when I was a police officer in Daytona Beach during his concert there in the 80s. He was very cranky as he had been on the road for a long time but his music was incredible. I was amazed at how tiny he is with such a powerful voice. I came away with an autographed picture which still hangs on my wall.
AND THERE IT WILL REMAIN,MARK.Frankie can be cranky at times, but overall a very nice man from what I have been told.who would have thought that in 2014 he would still be at it.a true American Icon!
..... I get the idea of the possibilities at Frankie and Bob who are very non political people are probably conservatives . And they keep their politics to themselves not like your normal left-wing Hollywood singer or actor very non political and I respect them for that
stephen pannizzo Actually that's not true. Check out the song "Beggar's Parade". Pretty much an indictment of a lot of the garbage that came out of the 60's.
realmusicnj . You know I completely forgot about that song is probably one of the earliest protest songs if you want to call it that that I really ever heard aside maybe from Dylan very very good observation thank you very much for bringing that up
Hopefully this can put to rest some of the doubts people are having about Mr. Valli and whether or not he was lip syncing his set for the 4th of July celebration...I worked on the sound crew for that event, I was there during rehearsals and the live show, and, I can state unequivocally 100% that Mr. Valli DID NOT lip sync at any time during his performance, there was no pre-recorded tracking used and what you heard that wonderful evening was a true legend using his God given talent to entertain a fantastic audience...I can't speak for any other performances with Mr. Valli, but on that night what you heard was live vocals from him
It is great to see so many younger than 35 enjoying this. Shows no matter what generation, people in this country know good music, no matter what their age. I also felt that, despite the abysmal situation our country is in, we can "hang on to what we got," as long as it is GOOD!
WELL PUT,NICK!AND SO TRUE.HE GIVES ME HOPE THAT THERE IS A CHANCE! THE 4 SEASONS HAVE RECORDED OVER 1200 SONGS SINCE 1960 WHEN THEY TOOK THAT NAME,AND NOT A SWEAR WORD IN 1 OF THEM.VALLI IS CURRENTLY FINISHING UP A TRIBUTE CD TO HIS IDOL AS A KID,FRANK SINATRA WILL BE RELEASED ON HIS 82 DIRTHDAY,MAY,3,2015
Anyone who thinks this is lip synced or auto tuned is obviously ignorant, a troll, or someone who speaks just to hear the sound of their voice. They have no knowledge of music at all. This man is and has always been a mega talent and at his age right now I would put his voice up against any performer over 50. If we are lucky this man will never retire but keep on performing and bringing joy, class, and entertainment to all his loyal fans.
monica burgess wow you guys enjoying playing off each other's posts. Neither you have made mention of me pointing out his mouth mismatch at 11:02. Also, any performance of this song for the better part of a decade is IDENTICAL. instead of making random statements and insults, argue those points I just made.
Damean De Leon also pointing out that many reviews of his shows say they suspected him of lip syncing. I can't tell you another performer with that quantity of similar reviews
Enoch T It's the same thing with Paul McCartney, other rockers, and every performance of a Broadway musical. Good artists know how to replicate their performances.
I love how he's still got that brightness in his eyes. It's really beautiful and sweet to watch. Also, watching this when it first aired inspired me to write a "Jersey Boys"-based fanfiction.
the one thing that amazed me about the performance was watching the audience and seeing so many young people singing along to the songs. just goes to show that Frankie valli's music reaches audiences of all ages
I'm a 72 years old Brazilian, never left the country but I still have the record "Can't take my eyes off you". My children sang it, now my grandchildren sing it too. They don't know the words but, when it comes to "I love you baby", they shout out loud. God bless Frank, the Four Seasons and all who contributed to make this song and other hits broadcasted to the whole world.
5th week of confinement in Seattle, stumbled on the Frankie Valli concert and forgot about the confinement ... Thank-you Skarld, I needed music and carefree moments.
What a blessing you are Mr. Valli! Take some time for your self, rest for awhile the world is not as we once knew it, it will take the life out of you now. I am 67years old and I walked down many dirt roads singing your songs. God Bless!
THIS MAN DESERVES EVERY THING......THE BEST EVER,NONE WILL COME CLOSE......A LEGEND FOR SURE,BLESS YOU MR.VALLI,THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT MUSIC.AND THANK YOU FOR THE AWESOME POSTING,LOVE IT.
Frankie valli is the Best! the all time favorite. his music has a lot of sense no that crap just like what the kids seeing now. i love his music and amazing voice. thank you so much for this video.
pretty good shape as well.i went to see tony Bennett, and he was half mental.all he talked about was Obama. and he has trouble walking, frankie does not seem to have any trouble at all
A.MAZ.ING! Long live Frankie Valli! He looks great and is still singing at 80! God bless him and I'm so glad he's getting to enjoy the tribute of Jersey Boys and a resurgence of his great music. Go Frankie!
Frankie looks good and sounds good all these years later. I was hoping that the "billing" "The Four Seasons" meant that the original group was going to be on stage with him. I guess this is the backup group he performs with today. Good to know he's still around and performing. Sounds like he did back in the day. He's still got the "chops". Good show Frankie.
I was there! Talk about one incredible experience! Frankie was superb! Listen to that voice! I mean, he sounds as good as he did...how many years ago? Amazing man!
I think this post today is very appropriate the day after a sweeping election.....as well, this is Mr. Frankie Valli performing live 50 years after his release of "Sherri". this American still has the it factor! GOD BLESS AMERICA!
the electorate spoke loud & clear, like liberty's bell ringing! NOW if our representation gets the people's mandate making the president truly a lame duck we may rise again in glory. Our work is not done with a vote cast, it has just begun!
@Monica, what does this video have to do with elections. In 2008 one party swept in because people were tired of the current party and yes it happened again this past election. It always happens no one is ever happy with whom is in office it's the American way. But I digress here and again I state what does Frankie Valli's wonderful performance here have to do with elections? I must add Frankie you look good and you sound wonderful!
Watching during the CoronaVirus pandemic! I watched this video like 100 times and I can't get enough! I'm a big fan of Frankie Valli's work, it's a shame he never came to Brazil, the country where I live!!!
I grew up listening 2 Frankie Valli. Great MEMORIES... i even remember my 1st boyfriend, who was Luis Colon "PICA"". He's my 1st. Now hes married and matb living in Ct. Good old days. And feeling TRUE LOVE...way way back. Hope he's doing fine. HELLO LUIS COLON....God Bless U where ever u r. Ur old friend, Lourdes.....

To those even suggesting lip sync... Listen to the second verse of "Can't My Eyes Off of You" and on.... he sings the notes in a different melody. Note the words "And I thank God I'm alive... 'You're' just too good to be true" and on the chorus.... " O pretty baby" and the " Love you baby... Love youuuu....." That's not how he typically ends the song in the original versions in any way... If he truly has been lip syncing and been using this same version over and over... we would have multiple cases of the songs being performed "live" from many other events that would sound exactly the same musically.
gracias por existir franky te escuché por primera cuando tenía 12 años ahora tengo casi 50 tu música la traigo en mi sangre crecí con ella eres un ser de luz
Yes he is really singing, l have been listening to him for 50 years and this is his voice At the end of the last song he yells the song, which proves it's him singing 🎤
This is so great to see. I didn’t watch it back then. Like a lot of us, I took it for granted that America was strong and united. I can’t believe what’s going on now. Makes no sense - horrible. I want to go back to my youth. Things weren’t perfect, but at least, people were reasonable and right from wrong was easily distinguished.
WOW...I'm an Aussie and have loved Frankie V and the Four Seasons for... well just about forever...! Old geezer by the way, ripe old age of 60. Hit the discos in the mid 70's to "Oh What a Night". Wish this had been more of a medley though to encapsulate more of their repertoire. But hey it was a fantastic performance from one of the all time GREATS.
This VERY talented man is 80+ years old, and can STILL hit those notes without any problem!!! His voice never quakes or falters, always there. What a singer. Frankie, you're sensational!!!

The Four Seasons the only one that I can think of that comes close is Rod Stewart doing the classics.
Daryl Brunscheen He's not singing live he's syncing those songs ...
monica burgess rod stewart is not 81and does not have a falsetto voice to accompany his normal tenor voice.poor comparison

Could you point that out please?
THANKS,Ekkie.how can you make a mistake with lipsync.just ignorant people that cannot accept the fact that the guy can still sing at 81 and 3/4 now
Where, there's not one mistake
Ekkie101 what part in the video for geese, you caught him lip syncing
I don’t feel like he is either cause Can’t Take My Eyes Off You does sound slightly different to the recording like the way he’s singing it sounds different so I believe this is live
Mans still got it. Been doing this for 60+ years, and he's still got it

Frankie Valli....He is the man....Still has that New Jersey mob boss look ... Such a Legend.
Speaking of which, did you see him on "The Sopranos"?
I had the honor of being Frankie's bodyguard when I was a police officer in Daytona Beach during his concert there in the 80s. He was very cranky as he had been on the road for a long time but his music was incredible. I was amazed at how tiny he is with such a powerful voice.
I came away with an autographed picture which still hangs on my wall.

We've been with Frankie as his four singers for over 14 years now. Been a great ride!
Thank you for the information. I'm a baby boomer & clearly recall when these tunes were having their first radio runs. Great music LIVES FOREVER!!
Are you deaf? Plus there's a stack of evidence online.... The band is live playing to a click track but Frankie is miming....
80 years old! We should all be so lucky!
Go, Frankie, go!
It is great to see so many younger than 35 enjoying this. Shows no matter what generation, people in this country know good music, no matter what their age. I also felt that, despite the abysmal situation our country is in, we can "hang on to what we got," as long as it is GOOD!

Man i can never hear too much Frankie Valli, hes still got it and i think i still want it LOL
The love and appreciation I have for this man is incredible.
I can't believe his voice hasn't changed much at all. Love the music, the show and the movie!
This, folks, is real talent! Not many others have I known who could sing this well at 80 big ones!
no one I know of can match him at that age, period. you are so on the mark with that!
absolutely amazing, doing very well for his age, what a great guy
noPlastic on that face.i will take 80 looking, and singing as good as him, AN AMERICAN TREASURE!
Spot on.........The guy is a national treasure. The Four Seasons

He is truly amazing, Thank you Frankie for all the great memories, loved you back then and now😇❤
Thank you Jersey Boys you all are truly awesome to keep Four Seasons alive😇❤
The music keeps him going ,he loves it like we love himxxxxx
I saw the Jersey Boys movie and I really enjoyed it. Frankie Valli still sounds great at 80. The Four Seasons are one of my favorite groups.
I love how he's still got that brightness in his eyes. It's really beautiful and sweet to watch. Also, watching this when it first aired inspired me to write a "Jersey Boys"-based fanfiction.

At his age his voice still sounds like it did 60 years ago.
Dale Deimel he doesn't have the falsetto like in the 60's, 70's & 80's but the man can SING! I actually think I prefer the new Frankie!
inkey2 It's obviously lip synced. But who cares. His voice is still great and he still has that killer falsetto. Remarkable for an 80+ year old.
You are right who can sound the same at 25 years old as 80. No singer can, you parents and grandparents voice change, it is jus age.
Yes, I've seen videos where he lip syncs. However, this isn't one of them. I've watched this several times. No lip sync on this performance.
Because it was recorded long ago and he just fakes it now.
yes frankie sounds better than ever and thanks for posting this happening which I never saw
Frankie, you sound great, after all these years, incredible.
Wow Frankie really kills it here! He goes for notes that I haven't heard in a while. Very good performance from one of my favorite singers.
can still do 1 and 1/2 octave when needed,he used to have 31/2 octave range, but at 80,what we get is pure American legend still out there
What a blessing you are Mr. Valli! Take some time for your self, rest for awhile the world is not as we once knew it, it will take the life out of you now. I am 67years old and I walked down many dirt roads singing your songs. God Bless!

To the present generation. This is what you call pure talent.
Frankie looks good and sounds good all these years later. I was hoping that the "billing" "The Four Seasons" meant that the original group was going to be on stage with him. Frankie Valli.......The Best.........
He's such a cool dude!! :)
Absolutely good arrangements and a memorable singer-group as well !
Frankie Valli's stage performance is almost similar to studio recordings. This is a very rare talent, not all singer have.
Kudos to Frankie Valli.........he just sounds terrific!!!
Amazing!!!!! 80 years old and singing like this. We love his songs.
Excellent show. still sounds the same. Nice to see the crowd joining in the singing.
Italians are born w golden voice.
No doubt. Studied bel canto for years.& they don't need.
When it came to this moment, I really envied people attending this Capitol Hill July 4th concert. Wish I was there, too.
Greatest songs & talents are on 1980's.
Plus Mr.Valli,of course!
When I reach his age I hope I am able to do 1/10 of what he can do! What was good to see was all the young people so into the music. They were loving every minute of it.
This was a once in a lifetime experience for us with Frankie. Thanks for posting!
Gracias por esta belleza de musica y de este grande,,Frankie Valli.
This guy is great. Saw Frankie Valee in Cape Cod and remember his music from the 60s. Timeless.
OMG, his voice is still soooo gooood!!!
Frankie Vali songs and his personal story make him a legend.
He "paid" for his success, i admire him and the four season.
Wish him all the best in world
I love Frankie Valli and I'm 22.
Music just isn't the same these days.😩
Still a legend, always a legend.
two words has it (the best of the best) tky Frankie and the four seasons for all those wonderful years of music and song!!!
I saw Jersey Boys 10/7/2017 in Portland Maine with my wife and daughter a great show last. This is the real deal wonderful.
It's sad that an 80 year-old man has more talent than every single Rapper from the 2000s combined
yes hen does
Yes why can't they go and write music like that again
You are wack
God Bless the USA
He is definitely singing live, watch his throat. Use it or lose it!
I love this video so very much and Frankie Valli look so good in that video and he's such a very handsome dude. I still love his music up to age of now.
People are accusing him of lip syncing, but I highly doubt he is. He's still going great for 81!
+VD Peruvian He is.
ricarleite evidence? he's been on constant tour since the late 70's!
+VD Peruvian I have evidence he isn't, however www.examiner.com/article/frankie-valli-served-the-nation-with-his-own-voice-during-a-capitol-fourth
Connor Terrell he still sounds great for an 80 year-old, older than any of my grandparents.
He has a sound track he has been Lip syncing for years.
Swearing to God, he has the special voice talented by God.
He is, indeed, blessed. He's never taken his talent for granted. And by the way, nice choice of words at the beginning. (giggle)
If he truly has been lip syncing and been using this same version over and over... we would have multiple cases of the songs being performed "live" from many other events that would sound exactly the same musically.
your right,no lip sync at all. guy is an idiot.he assumes that because Valli is 80,He Must be lip sync. he is an ass!
Frankie is doing so well here he makes people think he is lip-syncing. Wow.
Nicholas Italia never looked at it that way nick, but your right
Still going & looking great. My main Man. Tunes of my younger years. 4-ever the Seasons.
I think he was great....he still has it.
Saw the movie Jersey Boys twice and loved it.
A beautiful piece of history ❤️.
Amazing video with some great classics
This video got me into music and the 60s remember my name I'm only 11 but I will be big remember my name.
Still following Frankie. I swear he is shrinking. lol. But having stood beside him I can tell you that tiny guy puts out a voice like no other.
+Mark Francis Sinatra Vinette He was 5 foot 5 in his 20's probably less now like 5 foot 3, just due to age...
+TheSpritz0 Yeah. Everybody starts to "shrink" at some point.
Stood beside him? Nice. (giggle) What kind of person is he?
He is a very kind down to earth person
He's the Al Pacino of rock n roll.
At one point, they kind of looked alike.
Frankie Valli wow it must be fabulous to be able to make music that helps people feel happy and it’s also made him a rich man. Awesome!!
Can't believe he's 80 and still this good!!!
Obviously he can't hit all the highs but damn!!!
Still has a sound, pretty good tenor voice his normal tone
I liked so much, great show Frankie
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE him !! THAT is music,
What a treat!
HOW BLESSED WE ARE TO HAVE FRANKIE & THE FOUR SEASONS IN OUR TIME!!! :-) WHAT A VOICE!!
gracias por existir franky te escuché por primera cuando tenía 12 años ahora tengo casi 50 tu música la traigo en mi sangre crecí con ella eres un ser de luz
Yes he is really singing, l have been listening to him for 50 years and this is his voice
At the end of the last song he yells the song, which proves it's him singing 🎤
Silence is Golden...unless Frankie Valli is singing.
Even younger people know the words. Amazing!
Awesome !!
its still cool to see greats live ,even if there old as the hills .
I saw Jersey Boys in theaters... awesome. Too good to be true
I saw it twice. Don't listen to the reviews, people!!!
The play is the best! If you have a chance to see it when it reopens off Broadway 🎭 after the pandemic 😷 GO❣️
OUTSTANDING.
He was 80 here. Wow!
I pray have that same level of energy, when I reach that age.
Same age as me.... Just a spot in the road.. Greenville, Florida.. 8/14/1936
Go Pirates. Class of 1954

What a great show. There's a lot of lovely looking ladies in the USA!
