This is where it starts. Right here, square one. Head for the door back to the west coast, setting sail on concrete oceans. Feel the hills roll on engulfed in flames, where red woods tower over me. Where there’s so much more than we think there is to see. I’ll lead a life of firsts on foreign soils. Somewhere that I can find the bones of a better man inside. Somewhere that I can find holding in tightly to the misery will never get me far. It will never get you far. As I exhale this breath of fresh air, I feel the distance tear the space between us. Cause we’re always climbing toward the sun, but the cabin pressure gets to me. And there’s so much more than we think there is to see. On to barren land and wasted weeks, but we won’t keep searching, we’re fucking helpless. And I feel the staleness in the autumn air, it’s not like usual. It’s fucking hopeless. I’ll leave this all behind for you when I’m gone. You grew from a seed. Forever strong as a pine tree. Always an evergreen.
where is jarrod alonge
The last line being sung by all three vocalists actually brings so much joy to me
Everything is so phonetic
This is one of the most beautiful pop punk songs I think that I have ever heard
Just one of those songs that gets better every time you hear it.
We gonna pretend we don't see that Mac behind that one tv?
knuckle puck? I thought they were called kanooklapook
2024 still evergreen
I didn't know Dan from Real Friends had a part in this song
Pop punk has never been in danger. Not once. Im 28 years old and this type of music has been a very popular genre my entire life. Kids these days just want a reason to feel like theyre fighting or struggling.
I used to have horrible depression last year, and i thought about ending my life so many times, until I heart copacetic, and one song on that album changed me for the best. That song was Ponder, and when I first heard that song, I lost it and started bawling my eyes out, after that I was determined to not stay in my room all day and starve myself, and just think about all the negatives in life. The lyrics that meant the most to me were "I'll tell you everything is copacetic." Copacetic to me means that life isn't always horrible, and that everything will fall into place soon. That song got me through so much, but evergreen did too, and if it wasn't for this band, I wouldn't be here, or as happy as I am today. I love these guys will all of my heart.
I get chills when
The ending of this song has been hitting differently since 6 years ago when my first nephew was born, and also after his brother was born 4 years ago, and way harder now that their sister was born a year ago. I love those little dudes, and love this song ❤

"I'll leave this all behind for you when Im gone, you grew from a seed, forever strong as a pine tree always an evergreen." My favorite part of this song tbh
Just want to leave this out for whoever needs to hear it. You’re worth every bit as much as anyone else on this earth and your faults aren’t defining you. Find worth in everyday and love the people you surround yourself with. Also allow that love to fill you up/build you up. Get outside and discover yourself. It won’t happen overnight but a step forward is 2 steps ahead rather than taking a step back ❤️ have a great day and be inspired
Knuckle Puck + Yeah Films is always a sick combination. Loving everything about this.
Funny how a song about a tree helped me out of my depression.
