The biggest thing this is missing for me is backing vocals, it could be really powerful at Eurovision if she was joined by some female vocalists on stage
Definitely, add drama to chorus. In general when it comes to Balkan ballads and drama, if you think you’ve added too much drama, to the overall stage and vocal package, add a small bit more.
EBU needs to give this every opportunity to qualify so that Montenegro stay in the competition. If they throw it into the second spot in the semi then it will be tough.
I think this is one of the best songs Montenegro has sent to Eurovision. It's much above anything they usually send to Eurovision and Nina seems to me like professional performer. I think Montenegro can not only qualify this year, but also get a good result if they keep the performance simple and classy. I just hope they keep the similar color scheme of the performance and don't change it to like red and black. I could see Nina come TOP 10 with jury in the final!
The blindfold actually represents the blindness in the society, it represents people who don’t want to help by actually looking away/ignoring or closing their eyes to abuse.

For the blindfold bit, I'd say go for the exact opposite direction, and give her the Morticia Addams treatment, where there is a beam of light over eyes and when it comes to the "Here i am" moment, widen it to show her full face. I hope this makes sense, cause i think it would be really cool.
The higher notes don’t seem too high for her, so bringing the song up a few keys might help with the pitchy low notes. But I agree, it’s a good song and I’m here for the drama.
@@AlesiaMichelle A bad song has a higher chance of going through the final then a boring song. Unless there's zero ballads in the semi final, we have no chances to qualify, while Clickbait was more memorable and catchy, and while still problematic to qualify, we would have had a better chance. I wanted Nina Žižić to return since 2019, but this song is not only the definition of "underwhelming", she will get the "Omar Naber" result in May.
@@ex-yukaraoke.v.246 "Hope is the denial of reality"- Margaret Weiss Unless the staging is great (which i highly doubt since our last great staging was in 2015), then our result will be the same as Vladana in 2022.
So the idea behind her outfit and blindfold is - Lady Justice. She is blindfolded, all in white, having scale in one hand and sword in other. Nina said the only thing she told her team is that she wants to have her hair down in Eurovision. I think the original idea - Lady Justice, heartbeat, black/white leds… It works, it gives me chills. But for Eurovision it needs to be bigger and more striking. Nina admit talking to Wiwi bloggs she was nervous beginning of the song and she is aware she was pitchy but she did pick up 2nd half of the song. She can sing, Im sure she will perfect this. They are also doing a revamp and they will add backing vocals. She sang this whole song alone live by herself with 0 backing vocals or pre recorded vocals in Montesong and she did great imo I am truly hoping this is a successful return for Montenegro. It’s definitely a quality song and Nina deserves a spot in the final (especially since she was robbed with Igranka in 2013 finishing 4th in televote just to be tanked by juries) Go Montenegro! 🇲🇪❤️
I love this song and I really want her redemption from 2013 specially cuz if they don’t qualify they won’t probably return BUT….im really afraid that Europe won’t vote for this 😞
This has a high chance of not qualifying and even if they qualify it will be like 25 points. It's not unique, it's not catchy, there's nothing going on the stage, it's not even a good song. It just screams mediocre.
I'm being sarcastic right now but Albania has a "new" sibling. We don't need a revamp. Maybe a bit more layering but this is a good song. Is it going to win? Probably not but who cares in the end. It's not just the winners who are successfull. Montenegro: you did well.
Actually the only 2 times Montenegro qualified was with ballads. Also, ex Yu and Yu diaspora will vote for this. If they end up in same semi with Serbia and Croatia and just one with huge diaspora (like Switzerland or Austria)- they are qualifying. Balkan ballads always make it and Montenegro is living proof since they only managed to qualify with them
@@AlesiaMichelle I agree. Also, Serbs who live outside Serbia will vote for this mark my words. And not just them, Croats/Bosnians/Macedonians. This is a type of song that Balkans support, they understand the language, they hear familiar sound and they vote for it. If she keeps it in Montenegrin diaspora will respond to it strongly. Same goes for Albania - every time they translate song to English they flop and their diaspora doesn’t vote. They dont feel connection to the song. All she needs to do is keep it in Montenegrin and she is fine 🙌🏻

Okay... they might not need to be on stage but they could be backstage. OR they can bake those vocals into the background.

Happy new year Alesia! You should really check out “Asteromáta” by Klavdia, it’s a masterpiece. She’s in the Greek National selection this year.

I couldn’t agree with u more. I honestly could see Montenegro pull a Portugal and do well with the jury but poorly with the tele vote
Sorry but if ramonda didn’t do well with the jury than this is also not gonna do well with the jury i think
We're back 😌

I’m catching your drift. If it can be properly framed it could work but sometimes these camera folks don’t know what they’re doing

That's a good suggestion. But, better breath control can really fix this in no time, but I wouldn't mind a little key change.
You can hear her at esc Montenegro 2013. with higher notes than this.
Her look and blindfold remains me on statue of ladyJustice...justice is blind
As someone from Montenegro, i can sincerely say that Clickbait had better chances to qualify then this will ever do.
Deeply disagree.
