Protake and filmic pro both have awful reviews. Everything is down to 1 star and people complaining how buggy and unstable it is. The only app here that actually works is open camera. For anyone looking to download apps mentioned in this video just go with open camera
Thank you so much, Justin! Your videos are the best in this segment of RUclips. While others sometimes tend to present only high price alternatives and devices, you always have a good mix of stuff that works for free, sth that is affordable and then the ultimate app for the purpose. I have followed your advice a couple of times over the last 3 years since I started "booktubing" and it always turned out very well. So keep up the good work, man! Greetings from Sweden!
Yep, totally agree with. Rainier you have explained it perfectly. The fact that you get a free option, a good option and the best one is perfect as it means regardless of your budget you will get value out if watching this video
Great video very informative. Do you know which camera app for Samsung Galaxy will stay open for about 60 minutes session and does not close every 1-2 minutes?
I had the itch to see if there are any new video app options for my Samsung S20. My first go-to for ideas? Justin at Primal Video! Thank you for the recommendations. I have the legacy FilmicPro version, which is a challenge to control the ISO and shutter speed. I don't like the subscription model but I'm paying for other subscriptions to enable producing real estate media, so I guess I need to take a closer look at these two. Thank you for your advice!
What do you mean by "having a challenge"? Because it seems I just can't control the ISO on Samsung A-515, it just doesn't change, so no challenges basically.))
The saddest thing why im here is because open camera final update was released in2013 which is alot of new phone has a problem with its Video recording that is soo dark even with external lights straight on ur face. 😢
All very nice but nothing can compete with a hand-held camera if taking fast shutter speeds to capture the fasts movements such as a drum stick. All phone apps seem to incapable of working at a instant
Can anyone recommend an android camera app that makes it really obvious when a video is recording. Eg, a big flashing icon on the screen when the video is recording.
Wow now we have to subscribe for phone app's for the camera. I don't mid paying, everyint is not free. But close to 167 dollars the first year, then a jump to 228! Nope sorry that asking way to much !
You can use StreamYard on your phone from your browser. You don't need to download an app or anything. Your guests can also join on their phones. For Android, we recommend the Chrome browser. - Hazel, PV Team
Sorry Howard, you are wrong there. Whilst I have a point and shoot camera for the videos I post to RUclips. All the videos I make for Instagram I do on my phone.
The best camera to use is the one you have in your hands. So, most of us aren't running around with our main video cameras. We use what we need to use in the moment. And yeah, I use my phone heavily for video.
subscriptions subscription SUBSCRIPTIONS. no way. To the sails I go. These subscription models everyone is doing is absolutely the scummiest shit ever. Oh they moved from one time payment to subscription. No way.
I will not support any camera app with subscribtion models

Thank you😊
I'm not gonna lie. Open camera also sucks in my experience. Ive had really frustrating experiences with it
Subscriptions = slavery
Nah that's ignorant it's only slavery id someone's forcing you to partake. @@anyfriendofkevinbaconisafr177
Open camera is awful too, it takes out of focus photos. In the display, it shows the photo is properly focused but it came out out of focus
I love how you simplify things in your videos. . Could you please post indepth tutorials on how to use these apps?
Thank you, we do have plans to have updated videos on these apps
@@PrimalVideo Great stuff as usual PV team! I join the request for more in-depth info.

Open camera settings are lie. For example. When you set up the FPS to 60 fps up. It still gets 28fps. Even my phone is a high end. 4k 60 fps.
Is there an app that would let me adjust (reduce) the sharpness of camera?
Justin:Pro mode
Subtitle:no, "promo"
Cinema 4k is the only app ive found that will record video in 25fps on an android (S22)

MotionCam is what I replaced both of these apps
how much do they pay you for this add
Please recommend "HD CAMERA" the stabilization is very excellent.
Totally agree
There are so many hd camera on play sotore wich one is it ?
Pity you never mentioned how good the Samsung native camera app in pro mode is, compared to the paid promos you deliver. For shame.
Mine doesn't have video pro mode
Too bad the Samsung app loses all but basic functionality when run in split screen.
Only for photo, not for video.
How do you take pictures with Protake?
I absolutely love your videos they have helped but still not sure about my videos so I'm gonna try a new approach again
Glad you liked it, all the best on your videos - Hazel, PV Team
Is there any difference between Samsung Pro Mode and Open Camera? Like I've heard quality is worse on 3rd Party Apps for Android? Thx!
Android apps aren't good bro they decrease the quality drastically

CHanging to subscription is unacceptable.
Yeap 👍 now I’m going to request a refund 😖😡

Which lets me lock in which lens is being used for video?
Open camera has a button to switch between the lenses
2:26 No Justin, it's not something that you should use, you are very handsome
If anyone out there is a Infared photo nut, photoshop camera has a IR filter that gets close to the mark of what gives the ir feel

Imagine having to pay subscription for a camera. Rubbish.

IMHO, people who watch and understand this video aren’t using a phone as a camera, nor should they.
Sorry Howard, you are wrong there.

Phone cams are better than even the cheapest DSLRs. Don't be such a snob.
