President Cyril Ramaphosa will today respond to the debate on his opening of parliament address in a joint sitting of the National Assembly and National Council of Provinces. In his Opening of Parliament Address on Thursday, President Cyril Ramaphosa said under the GNU, priority will be given to eliminate poverty, growing the economy to create jobs and building a capable, ethical and developmental state. The opposition benches criticised Ramaphosa saying he didn't bring anything new to the table.
