Great List Kris! I have another suggestion for anybody reading the comments. 8) Do more than just physics and math in undergrad. Bring good at those is an expectation, and not necessarily a flex. Being able to effectively communicate and demonstrate you’re picking this path out of an educated decision is very important. Plus too, the ability to write well, or publicly speak (while TAing or presenting research) is a valued thing they look for as well imo.
So should i get involved in research in multiple groups or is it ok if I am with a single prof for like 2 years? I am worried about the letters, I have one guy who i have worked with for over a year and he is a good guy and I might do my Masters thesis under him and I have other teachers, so what do you think?

Thank you bro. This is a very good advice.

Does this also apply for an international student as well?
