Great choices Chris! What song was Cooper playing on the Eggle? I know it, just can't name it and Siri didn't recognize it. It was played so beautifully, as always!
Wow! What a list - and very different from Cooper’s picks! Fantastic selections…and, who knows? Seems at the end of 2024 and going into 2025 that cedar/mahogany may be calling my name! Thank-you Alamo Music for helping me take care of my instruments, and to help me test out (and buy) new ones. Your staff is knowledgeable, professional and also fun! Best wishes going into 2025! Thanks for another great video, Chris!
When I started to watch this video I was like “okay, there will be Furch… question is which one”. Furch lover but not owner here. :-) Btw, its really hard to judge which guitar is better because you guys could play on shovel and it would sound great. Happy holidays and thanks for video. :-)
Of the five, I would vote for the Eggle. I've read about the brand but haven't played one. My "set the bar high" LP style guitar has always been the Anderson Bulldog, no longer available. Cooper does a great job of test driving the Eggle. Looks a lot like an LP with PRS curves. Incredible sounding. It's definitely got ample low-end growl and plenty of high-end sparkle. Playability appears high, but Cooper could make a one-string guitar look good! Lovely guitar. Thanks, guys!
Chris, I am in KCMO and the Chiefs just scored a touchdown while I was watching this (please don't hate me, love your enemies. If you know, you know.) Great list. It appears 2024 has been good for you, you look great! Merry Christmas! I appreciate all y'all.
I noticed your a lot in to Furch guitars and I think they are great but when you mention them to be the loudest guitar, did you compare them with Eastman guitars? Keep up the good work and greetz from The Netherlands JH
Great list! That Taylor 514CE Legacy is really something special. Taylors for me are often too nasal sounding, but the cedar top mellows it out and gives it a woody warmth that perfectly balances it out. Also, the way Cooper picks up a guitar and immediately knows exactly what to play to accentuate its tone is always so impressive. I like when Chris demos guitars too, because he's consistent from guitar to guitar. Both are super helpful!
Taylors are beautiful but I’ve never played one that didn’t sound like a budget guitar - to my ears this one doesn’t sound nearly as good as the others either. Of course I’m not in the room.
They sell Martin he said he’s a huge fan of Martin. Yet even if he did hate them how does that influence your decision to purchase from Alamo? Both these guys are very knowledgeable about guitars, that’s all I could hope for in a retail setting (someone who is knowledgeable about their products). If I lived closer they would be my go to store.
Everyone at Alamo Music, have a wonderful Holiday Season and a happy , healthy & prosperous NEW YEAR ! Thanks for all you do . 🎸🎸🎸
Cooper's fingerpicking with that Furch was *chefs kiss*👌
Merry Christmas!! Thanks for a year of beautiful music! Love you, guys.
Really love that Strat Chris. Happy Holidays to you, and Cooper, and all the team at Alamo Music. Looking forward to next year’s videos. 🤓👍
Thank you, Cooper and Chris. Great videos and reviews throughout 2024! Much love from Luxembourg 😊
Happy Holidays to our American cousins, brilliant reviews from Chris and Cooper, and prosper in 2025
All guitars are awesome ....yes, they are ! 🎸🎸🎸

I'm in the UK, but love the videos you and Cooper do.
I want the McKee strat. Holy smokes that thing is cool. The finish looks like the candy coating on the outside of a Cadbury's mini egg. I love it.
I’m afraid I couldn’t afford that beauty.
Love these type of reviews.👍
Chris just sold me a guitar today! I didn’t even connect the dots 😂 thanks y’all!

Why was there no demo for Chris's strat ?

Great list.
It appears 2024 has been good for you, you look great!
Merry Christmas! I appreciate all y'all.
So no sound example of the strat? Waiting excited heh
FYI, you reviewed a Yamaha FG5 as having a 'wood' pick guard. The pick guard is plastic.
I noticed your a lot in to Furch guitars and I think they are great but when you mention them to be the loudest guitar, did you compare them with Eastman guitars? Keep up the good work and greetz from The Netherlands JH
I don’t believe they carry Eastman but might be wrong.

I need a Video for the best Hybrid guitars pls
Next should be top 5 under 1500
Y’all didn’t really both pick two of the same five, right….? 😂

Rock and Roll what? 6:31
NO surprise your hate for Martin continues… that’s the reason we don’t shop at your store.. be honest man
How can you not love a Nazareth Martin?

“What?! What are you talking about?!” I love Martin guitars. Waiting on a custom D-18 right now. - Chris
"Can ya' dig it?" For a moment, I thought I was hearing Gregory Kochery
