There's always next year! I am fairly sure the large scale field will be twice as large next year. Everyone I talked to said the 1/5-scale looked like the most fun of any class.
I agree. I would turn marshal from a distance. The good news is I didn't see a single issue, but the potential was on everyone's mind. Thanks for watching and commenting.--Matt Higgins, RC Truck Stop
You may be in luck. I believe they have had large scale races in NY--even upstate. How upstate are we talking? Where about do you live? There's a 1/5-scale track in NW CT.
love the losi's but who ever is driving the 5sc is doing a dam good job .. 2wd and hanging with the 4wd i think the driver is doing a impressive job ..great video.
I dont know, but i think the 5sc is the flux version as the whole body of the car is covered. If you listen to the sound of these trucks, you will hear a battery powered car, and i only hear it when i see the 5sc
RC Madness is a huge facility in Enfield, CT. It is north of Hartford. The address is: 101 North Street, Enfield, CT 06082 and the phone number is: 860-741-6501. Hope to see you up there!--Matt Higgins
Turn marshals better have their head on a swivel. An 8th scale buggy coming at you full bore is bad enough, can't imagine one of these monsters bearing down on you.

It looked like so much fun, many of the people watching left wanting 1/5-scales.--Matt Higgins
