As of February 6, 2024, heavy snow warnings had been issued for Tokyo's 23 wards and the wider Kanto-Koshin region, profoundly affecting the city's transportation network and daily life.
In this video, you would navigate through quieter streets, witnessing the snowstorm that led to significant disruptions. The city's usually packed train lines, including the Yokohama and Chuo Lines, experienced suspensions, while major expressways were shut to traffic. The snowstorm also triggered power outages, affecting around 13,000 households in Tokyo and its neighboring prefectures.

Was curious if you made it back to Tokyo for the snow. Was watching the snow on a Tokyo train crossing camera livestream (Edit: looked it up, it was near the Hoya Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line). There was even thundersnow that happened when I was watching, which I thought was cool. We get it here in Michigan during our snow storms sometimes too.
