Joe Henderson came to Ankara in 1985. As a very young law student I got the opportunity to hear his magic music in Hacettepe M Saloon. This was the first time I met this kind of Music. After I moved to Austria in same year he came to Innsbruck, Austria where I started to study law again. ( After I got kicked out Ankara Uni. Law Faculty) İt was very difficult time for me. İn short, this man reminds me too much of things. He had a plan to manage a Jazz School in İstanbul too, but never realised it. May he rest in peace. Apropos, the music here is stunning.
Was very fortunate to see him around this time in Atlanta, and even more fortunate to sit in the front row. I'll never forget it.

ニューヨーク・リユニオンのドラマーもアルフォスターであったが、アルのドラミングからは、マックスローチの影響を感じる。
素晴らしいタイム感覚で、スネアやタムのチューニングが素晴らしい。口径の大きいパイステシンバルは音色が良く、シンバルの内周を使ったシンバルワークにも定評がある。ジョーヘンダーソンも最も信頼できるドラマーとしている。ホーランドのウッドベースも正に名人芸だ👏
