Of teams mentioned, ones with cap and a coach not on the hot seat would be most likely if they are interested. The Steelers are a better location if Adams has any say because the Jets at best are a wildcard that loses their only playoff game, and the coach gets fired. If he has no say and it is bidding or the Steelers are conservative trading picks, the Jets are no worse than others. Saints, Ravens, Commanders with cap have more upside and better team stability.

I disagree with Simms on one point . Having Adam’s would definitely give Garett better looks during the course of a game. Right now he’s the main receiver and he’s bracketed on every play. With Adams on the feild defensive backfields would have to pick their poison and leave one of them in single coverage. The feild could open up significantly. Right now Garrett is completing about 1/2 the balls thrown his way. Without the double coverage his numbers would definitely go up
I'm probably in the minority as a Jets fan, I think giving up draft capital for a 31 yr old receiver and depending on a 40yr old qb to win I think is recipe for disaster. You need picks once Aaron needs.

Trading for Davante would make the media, Woody, and Rogers happy, too bad this team has other more important issues like the OL and DL. The OL is struggling to protect Rogers which hinders the passing game and can't run block against good defenses. Adding an aging WR isn't the answer.
The obvious deal is Hasaan Reddick for Davante Adams and the Jets throw in a draft pick that is not a second rounder

Exactly, even If they do get Adams they will still suck. Wilson probably will get the ball even less than now which will cause trouble in the locker room and he will demand a trade. Rogers will retire at the end of the year, either barely missing the playoffs or getting bounced the first round. coaching staff will be gutted leaving Adams on another team alone with a rookie head coach and a rebuild
