- After Slaughterhouse's verification, people were convinced we had a new hardest demon in geometry dash, all we needed was for RobTop to rate it. However, just 4 days later, Trick verified Firework by team cherry, which has been in the works for ages, now it brings up the debate of which is harder. Firework, or Slaughterhouse? Today I will by playing Firework, for the first time since January, when I was given a copy of the level. Is it really as hard as it is made out to be?

This is a pretty cool video aeon, it was cool to see this level from the perspective of someone who hasnt really practiced it before. Keep up the great work!

XD This level is a sin for a 60Hz player to touch.
I doubt anyone would ever try something this hard on 60, but honestly seems more approachable on 60 compared to alot of other top1s since it isnr just wave and ship dependent

What I find weird is there is a huge gap between 20 and 1 now. Like Aeon struggling to do this when his hardest has similar gameplay for a demon that’s 19th on the list…

There are 60hz players who can do small runs (the runs may be small but they'd be very difficult as they were done on 60)

I'm also pretty positive that it will be top 1 just because how consistently hard the whole thing is. Slaughterhouse and Arcturus have a few parts that are way harder than the rest

I was in the vc on which he verified it and it was absolutely SURREAL to see what was in front of my eyes. Seeing a top 1 be verified, I think this level is a beast, the song isnt the best but the deco looks amazing for a top one and same for the gameplay! :D It's an absolutely amazing level. and he was so consistent, he got to the 80 ship like 10 times in an hour

The reason that there's a 60hz fix is because levels have to be physically possible on 60hz in some way to be rated.
I think the only reason Kowareta was rated was because the first input is *sometimes* possible on 60
This rule might not exist in 2.2 because Rob is fixing the refresh rate bugs

This level is so fun (imo), that I decided to play it when it was open verification and spent 15k attmepts without getting bored or hating the level. My hardest is mechanical showdown.

The fact that Trick technically jumped to this from Wasureta is incrompehensible to me.
I love seeing a new top 1 thats fun because that means other skilled players/youtubers get to try and see and and get progress on this level. We just need something new in this community of hardest demons and now we have it!

Galaxy Collapse imo is my favorite looking top 1 extreme. I'm nowhere good enough to beat extremes tho I just love the song they use
I did my first practice in 2164 attempts, not bad, I think. My hardest is future funk II and I get 92% on HyperSonic
What's weird is firework took me 1.6k attempts while Arcturus took me like 500. My hardest is Hell by serponge

I'm curious what your practice runs on other demons look like? I recently got a 73 attempt conical depression run which I'm happy with and a 42 attempt cataclysm run

This level is insane. Like 6 months ago I did a practice run of Tartarus, and it took me like ~1000 attempts and 70 minutes. I really think this level is the new top 1.

Firework is definitely the new top 1
tbh it doesn't really look that hard, but if you consider the fact this is almost 3x as long as other top 1 candidates makes up for it, also timings are very often what makes stuff harder than it looks
additionally the beginning seems to be easier than the end, which also adds some spice
I personally think it is, the timing are so hard and it’s xl
I felt when I was trying the level in practise mode a lot of the timings are just rng whether you get through them or not. Like some definitely require skill but I feel like this level is so beyond that that it could never get consistent for a normal/reasonably good player.

I played both Arcturus and Slaughterhouse in practice, which were both hard but I was able to go through them pretty swiftly. This however, is WAY harder than both of them.
It is defenitely top 1. In my experience I don’t feel like Slaughterhouse nor Arcturus are even harder than Tartarus but thats just my experience. Let me know what you think and why!
I played both Slaughter and Arcturus, and imo Slaughter is like a tons harder than Tartarus, cuz I was struggling on it. Arcturus is def easier than Tartar sauce lol

@@aeri_9132 I could get why you thought Slaughter was harder than Tartar. For me it was easier since I'm best at wave but I know for a lot of people wave is their weakest gamemode.
Slaughterhouse is much easier to brute force in practice mode than Firework

Firework is going to be the number 1 demon longer than any other before, at this point it's going to be a battle for the number 3 spot because slaughterhouse is still inhumanly difficult and Arcturus is miles easier than those two so imo Firework and Slaughterhouse are going to reign supreme for more than likely forever and it will be a battle for 3rd.
