+Tech Lover Thanks for watching and feedback! After SSRS Tutorial, I have a plan to start SQL Server/TSQL Tutorial, Going to make a lot of videos on that and going to cover every topic in detail. I hope that guys would like our work!
Thanks! Nice & succinct. A question regarding Column Groups: Is there a way to repeat an ID column across "soft pages" (pagination caused by exceeding page width)? I'm writing an SSRS report using column groups that spreads across 2 or 3 pages, even though I've defined them as 17" width. Users want each page to repeat columns 1 & 2 (ID information) so they know what line they're looking at without having to bounce back to page 1. However when I try to set the group property "RepeatOnNewPage" in "Column Groups / Advanced", I get the error "All TablixMember elements in a TablixColumnHierarchy must have RepeatOnNewPage property set to false." I'm hoping you have a workaround. I even tried putting the ID on every group-column element, then using SQL to set visibility properties (each page holds exactly 6 sets of values), but the value displayed seems to be randomly picked from all the values without that Row-Group - so the ID's on page 1 differ from what's on pages 2 & 3. So strange.
Hi Sir. This is very useful. Could you tell me how to get the total of only required columns? In the above example total sum for only Cell Phone and Computer so total will be 5 instead of sum of all products(7) in the first row. Also this would be dynamic in nature and we are not sure what products may come as first column or second column.
Plesae could you show how to keep duplicate values for each sub group row instead of having them show blanks. That is, instead of the region values showing once, is it posisble to have it show for each row.The desired result will be that Asia will also show on the row for Pakistan and Europe will also show on the row for Germany. Thanks
Superb!
