    When your not putting the bracket, did the ACC worked with the rs grill ? did you just want it to be centered this is why you purchased the bracket?

    • @LastHumansGarage

      correct on everything. this is an old video.. ended up NOT moving anything.. left radar bone stock position. then shaved about 1/4" off the BOTTOM of the square of the hole, to get just a little more visibility.. never got a light again.. BUT I bet I didnt even have to file that part... i bet it would have worked anyway.. many people don't move anything.. and it just works..

    Thank you for doing this. Great job. You helped me a lot being the Guinea pig for Enthusiasts Brand & ACC relocation. Well done.
    Perhaps consider “Bus Art” vinyl, it’s more durable if you vinyl wrap crash bar next time. May hold up longer against rock chips since it’s malleable. I Work with vinyl for work on industrial vehicles with imperfect surfaces.

    I was really hoping that this ACC relocation bracket will solve the issue of non center radar and that there was no codes, but damn, it still give you that code for acc 😢
    But keep up the amazing work, love all your videos!!

    Hello,
    I have the same problem today, the front sensors are a bit too low like yours with the rs3 grid.
    Do you have an error on your S3 now / is everything working correctly having put it in the middle?

    • @LastHumansGarage
      @LastHumansGarage  11 месяцев назад

      no, i reverted back to stock grill. and paid $400 to have the radar fixed.

    • @Villoki
      @Villoki 11 месяцев назад

      @@LastHumansGarage Ah ok I see ..., my mecanics have putting the camera on the middle last evening, but I don't have any news about if it's working or not

    • @Villoki
      @Villoki 11 месяцев назад

      Last feedback, my mecanics created a custom mount this morning, fixing the sensor right in the middle of the hole at a 0° angle (they checked with lasers etc.).
      After starting the car several times in different time frames + passing the OBD case 2 times -> 0 problems / alerts 🎊
      We also wet the front grill and the front sensor more or less hard, no problem.
      Then I did a road test just before + a freeway test and the ACC works well, the car sees others cars and brakes well depending on distance, the line assist works and I'm sure the pre-sense will work too, but it's dangerous to test it.
      After everything I've seen on the internet, I think I'm very lucky guys !
      To be seen in the coming days and weeks !

      @LastHumansGarage  11 месяцев назад

    I would matte black it and ppf it... ppf has a lot more grab that vinyl adhesive wise. Or remove it and have powder coated or professionally painted.

  • @mpv314
    @mpv314 Год назад

    Yeah I’m going to get the eBay grille with the smaller bottom trim and larger cutout after seeing your experiences with it. Yours definitely looks better than eBay with the tighter ACC/ pre sense cutout hole, but I don’t want to risk the dash light. It seems the lower trim being thicker or taller to fit the Quattro letters is what causes the clearance issues on the A3/S3 radar. Still, looks fantastic! Thank you for such an insightful and in depth video

    • @LastHumansGarage
      @LastHumansGarage  Год назад

      ahh i dont think the hole is the issue but good luck. the stock placement is too far forward with the new grill. thats why you have to use the adapter. and moving it.. is what breaks it.
