- A Concept Video Apple Support style, I really love those videos so from an idea for a collab with @AppleDsign, I decided to make a "Apple Support" style of tutorial to showcase this feature, which I think it's really important since it would give the user a more strong control their device.

Apple is tripping for not having this feature. I almost got me phones stolen due to this. Thank god my Samsung Galaxy S20 has the Pin to power off feature on it. When I got close to the thief, my watch connected right back to my s20, due to the fact that my passcode is needed to turn off my phone AND the Bluetooth/Wifi settings. A Life saver it was.

I bought a Samsung device and was surprised it had this feature. Common Apple, We know iPhone is findable when turned off but it uses Bluetooth to communicate with other Apple devices around it so in cases where there are no Apple devices around it's pretty much usless.

For those silly asking: if thieves can turn off your iphone without any passcode (like previous iphone 13,12 and else), your phone will be lost.
- You may have esim: ok, your phone keep on icloud and you can track it down. But thieves turn off your phone easily.
So asking passcode + esim will help you track down location your phone.

@@gjmcgee thank you! Glad you liked it! Well, initially I thought about old gen iPhones that can’t be track once they are turn off. This feature, although not 100% stolen-proof, it’s still a pain in the ass to the person who stole it.

I lost my iphone 13 pro max because this features isn't available in iphone. after theif stolen my iphone he power off my phone and I cannot track my iphone. I never found that stolen guy and as a apple user I am very dissapointed on on iphone not having this security features on iphone.
It sucks that this feature is unavailable, my teacher lately has been going through student’s notifications and turning off people’s phones even when I have mine silenced and on do not disturb.

Hello, of course. In case of robbery or someone wanting to turn off your phone without your consent. Older gen iPhones don’t have the option to be tracked when the device is turn off while newer iPhone can.

Let’s imagine someone stoles you iPhone and wants to make sure you can’t track it turning it off, this makes it difficult. Or if we get in a more deep scenario: Several cases of abuse in a relationship the abuser partner tries to remove any way of communication from the victim, this feature could avoid or at least made this kind of situations more difficult to do. It’s just a feature that gives more power to the user.
