It would seem that the Suzuki is a no brainier. Lighter, more fuel efficient and on and on. And in saying that I certainly don’t think the BMW is a poor bike at all
BMW is faster & more xpensive. Vstrom is smoother and go 7km extra... with EVERY litre of fuel. Oil boils at 350C. Glycol boils at 120. Suzukie engine dont make steam pockets & hot spots when running hot.
Only thing to add.. The Suzuki is made in China. Check the front forks. If it was deck cargo, the fork crome may be pitted due to bad chrome and sea salt. The sales team were a bit pissed off when I pointed out the fact the fork seals will be leaking in days of a sale in the shop due to the chrome bulging/rusty on the new legs.
Love my 310. I had that suzuki engine in another bike and it was good but the 310 has more character.

I had faced right fork oil seal problem under 1600kms. Got the right side fork replaced under warranty. It took 1 month for replacement.
